Brynhald — Once Emrys was inside the portal Uberin lifted his hand and swept it sideways, the portal immediately closing to the outside world. Leaning back fully into the edge of the bath, both arms moving up to rest on the sides he let his body relax in the steaming hot water. Closing his eyes he didn't really take notice of what Emrys was doing untill he heard the footsteps closing in on the bath. Opening one eye to look over at the child he pointed over to the other side of the room where there was a door. "The womans bath is through that door. Last thing I need is to be accused of attempting to sweep a small girl off her feet." Reaching up as a servant came close he took another mug of ale off the tray offered to him and began to drink this one in a more slow and relaxed manner. Knowing all to well how being in hot water like this and drinking was a fast way to get absolutely shit faced. anxcrypt — Emrys didn't even pause at Uberin's direction, continuing to step to the bath before dipping the toes of one foot in. "You know what they say about assumptions, Ube." As a servant came to him, Emrys removed his towel and laid it gently over its arm, revealing his **** body as he thanked the silent servant. His entire body was light brown, no tan lines in sight, as if he spent a lot of time ***** in the sunlight, the only paler skin at his inner thighs. The bottom of his hair brushed against his generous rump and he twisted his hair up over a shoulder as he stepped into the bath, humming in delight as the warmth enveloped him. Leaning back against the edge of the bath, Emrys lifted his arms and rested them along it as well, tilting his head back as he closed his eyes. "This is lovely." Brynhald — Uberin was barely paying attention to them untill he heard the comment about making assumptions. Looking over as Emrys dropped the towel his eyes almost popped out of his head. Immediately slapping both hands against his face in a mega facepalm he let out a long groan. "Oh noooooo" Taking his hands away to look over to Emrys once he was in the bath he let out a long sigh. As if his soul was in pain. "I... Sincerely apologize for that. I just... The hair and the..... Never mind. I apologize." Quickly downing the rest of his drink he swapped the empty mug for another full one and sighed again. "S.... Since when do boys have behinds and thighs like that anyways. Can't say it is very common. Even amongst monster races." He had clearly begun fumbling for some kind of excuse as to why he so blatantly assumed that Emrys was a girl. anxcrypt — A bubbly laugh burst from Emrys and he flapped a hand as he accepted another mug from the servant who passed by, bringing it up with both hands to sip at the alcohol inside. "Don't worry about it. It's not like I cleared it up sooner, y'know? I know that gender amongst most races is pretty straight forward and easy to distinguish, so I'm not offended or anything." Leaning back again, Emrys took another sip before humming and looking at Uberin, eyes still twinkling in amusement. Of course he'd done all that on purpose. "We fae do love our pranks, after all." Brynhald — Uberins face practically turned to stone as the mention of pranks was made. That was when it dawned on him that he had told his deepest secret to a fae. Slapping himself in the face again, this time so hard it left a slight print, he groaned. "You can prank me as much as you like. But I swear... If you **** me with this whole magic thing. Garett will kick me out of the guild himself... and I will not be impressed." Knocking back his full mug of ale he set it beside bath and sank down into the water, everything below his eyes dissapearing beneath the surface as he intently stared at Emrys from the waterline. anxcrypt — Emrys' expression grew serious and he lowered himself as well, getting a bit closer to Uberin as he met the man's gaze. His hair fanned out over the water around him and his celeste irises swirled with the innate magic that coursed through his veins. "I swore not to tell and fae do not lie. We keep secrets if we straight up swear and promise to not tell. I've had my own secrets laid bare before and I've had to pay for it, so I understand how important it is to you." Brynhald — Nodding his head slowly in response Uberin slowly raised his head back up out of the water and lifted a hand to wipe at his face as the alcohol started to get to him a little. "Well I am relieved to hear that you don't lie. I will trust you for now, little boy. So far you haven't done anything for me to distrust you. Sorry if my words come across harsh. I know what people say about me. That I am lazy and weak. An alcoholic. But the guild is all I have. I dedicated so much of my life to this magic I am not allowed to lose that I have nothing other than my power, my brother and the guild." Getting stuck in his own head for a moment he reached up to rub at his short blue goatee. Playing with the hair a little he shrugged. "Probably best I don't get into that head space though. Last time I did that my magic went wild and I almost crashed this dimension on myself." anxcrypt — Lifting himself as well, Emrys dipped his head back to let his hair get soaked before relaxing against the edge of the bath again, listening to Uberin as he spoke. The corner of his lips quirked at the "little boy" comment but he let it pass for the moment. "Understandable, Ube." Letting out a sigh, the fae closed his eyes as he tilted his head back. "I suppose since you've revealed so much of yourself to me, I should return the favor, if you're at all interested seeing as how we may be working together." Brynhald — Thinking on it for a few moments the Arch mage tilted his head in thought. Using his magic to form an orb of water that he began to play with and juggle he nodded slightly. "One would have to assume that if we do end up working together it is best we know as much of each other as possible. The relationship won't work the best if we end up accidently insulting each other or causing other issues. Though I will not force you to reveal anything you do not wish to tell me." anxcrypt — Giving a short nod, Emrys kept his eyes closed as he relaxed. "I'll start with the simple stuff, I guess. I'm 300 years old. I am a Druid. I'll keep my fae ancestry a secret for now. Hm... I did not fight in the previous human monster war but I was around and I did heal those I came across and who needed it. I've pranked kings, I've loved and lost and yadda yadda yadda. I protect those I care for and I do not like most humans." Tapping his finger against his chin in thought, Emrys considered something before shaking his head. "I'm not quite sure what else to say honestly." Brynhald — Upon hearing that the person he had been referring to as a child was 300 years old his mouth dropped open almost as if the muscles in his jaw had given up. Staring at Emrys for a few moments he regained some composure and cleared his throat. "Well.... That was... not quite what I expected...... Though I am curious as to why a fae who hates humans is in an adventuring guild run by two humans." Uberin began to blush furiously as he realised what he had just said. Everyone in the guild was told that the guild leader was the rather large Orc who was always in the guild office and one of the strongest Diamond Adamantite class adventurers. Now he had gone and admitted that it is infact run by two humans. He didn't say anymore. But he figured Emrys wasn't stupid in the least. If nothing else he would at least suspect that the true owners are the twins after he blundered as badly as he did. anxcrypt — Emrys laughed and raised a hand to point lazily at Uberin. "I did not say that I hated humans. I said I disliked most of them. There's a difference. If I can see that a human is a genuine person and doesn't hold stupid prejudices against monsterkind who aren't malicious, then it's whatever. On the other hand... Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, no? Winking playfully, Emrys turned to face the edge of the bath, resting his head on his arms as he stretched his back out. "Honestly though, this guild may be run by a couple of humans, but it has monster and human adventurers who've shown that they have respect for their guild and their leaders, regardless of race. That's something to be admired."
