I'll explain from my end rq: Zazo assured us that he triple checked that the correct mu was team 1 vs team 1. That's why we genuinely prepped for team 1 all week (have tons of logs and replays to prove it) and didn't think there was a chance you'd bring team 2. Believe it or not, but we weren't baiting. We DID realize that either the doc or Veno were wrong, but Zazo told us that he triple checked to confirm 1 v 1 was the correct mu. He told us that if for some reason you brought the team we weren't prepped for, that there was a precedent that had been set where the team that didn't check to confirm the mu were posted correctly lost. Like I said, I'll let him explain himself if he does actually have an example for this, but atm, it sounds like he doesn't have his facts right.
 
I apologize on behalf of my team, I should have been more hands on with this situation myself but I trusted Zazo that it was the correct mu. I don't think either team is at fault, though, I'll hold my ground on that one. If there hasn't been a precedent set, then find a way to play this game as fairly as possible

Lets not act like all teams don't look at that channel and get their matchups from that, everyone checks that as soon as matchups drop and you guys also would have seen that when they were released. This ORAS match was scheduled to take place today. At the beginning of the match, MTR claimed a win on the grounds that MK brought the wrong team. It was discovered that the #matchups and DPL S5 doc provided conflicting information regarding itsya's team. 
 
On one hand, I can say I am very sorry that we have made a mistake. I can only hope you guys believe we volunteer a lot of our time to make sure this runs smoothly. We are only human and sometimes with that, mistakes were made. For that, i hope you guys can continue to believe we do our best to ensure DPL is ran fairly and as efficiently as possible. 
 
After I investigated the incident from the perspective of both MK and MTR, i came to two conclusions. 
- I fully believe that information regarding the potential match-up error was withheld from admins in the event a match-up mismatch occurred. I strongly believe this was done in order to secure a competitive advantage.
 
- I strongly believe MTR prepped with their intended matchup in mind (the one listed in #matchups). This is supported by the logs of available mocks and prep support in the channel and stories from everyone involved in MTR. 
 
While mistakes happen and solutions can be worked out for mistakes, it is troubling to read about the knowledge of the situation at hand. I believe the MTR captains made a poor decision to withhold this information in hopes of being awarded an activity win. While I can consistently believe MTR prepped in good faith, i believe they did not act in good faith regarding this situation. All this trouble could have been avoided if any notice was given to admins. Because of this, I fault MTR for the majority of events today. 
 
With this being said, it has been ruled that the victory will be awarded to Mystic Kings. We hope moving forward, instances like this can be avoided, with more effort and honesty from both players and admins moving forward. Thank you.
