they teleport to an open field.
the wind there howls. a tree falls in the distance. some of the grass grows, some of it wilts and dies.
the weather changes a bit f aster.
but. overall. it's not AS harmful.
and sherri just falls onto her side and lies on the ground.

Emii rushes over and kneels down next to her, just. Making sure she's alright. "Hey, hey whoa whoa whoa are you okay?? I mean, no, you're not, I mean--are you in pain?;;;"

"I'm not in pain." She sits up slightly. "I'm just exhausted. Mentally, of this."

"......Good;; I mean...not...ugh!" [She alters her position to sit down next to Sherri, one leg folded in and sighs.] ".......And it's just gonna get worse, huh?"

[She folds her wings in, frowning just...at the phrase.] "...It is, yeah. The power to survive. Too bad...your body doeesn't seem to realize it needs to stop fighting to survive."
[It's her turn now to flop onto her back, spreading her arms out wide and exhaling a plume of smoke into the air, hair furled behind her.]

[She stands up, and with a twirl, she takes flight in the air with her large squeaker wings!]

(She watches this. It’s… nice. Her niece, soaring on beautiful wings through a shifting sky.)

[She also refused to take out the weeds and grasses stuck in her hair. It looks nice for now. After a few twirls and flips, she hovers in the air, flapping her wings.] "Aight, I'm ready for that fireball!"

(Well… they’re going somewhere, certainly. She doesn’t have to move from her resting position to create a great, explosive ball of fire around Emii.)

[That hits Emii head-on! And the explosion...well, it sends her careening through the sky in a tumble! No obvious damage, clearly, as she soon recovers and turns the tumble into some acrobatic flips and bobs, a smoke trail behind her!]

[Her laughter fills the air as she continues her tricks and just...fun in the air. She eventually begins using wind magic to accentuate everything, as well, creating colored trails!]

(All the magic Emii is casting is fluid, natural, easy—while she could cast these spells on her own power, she was always taught to use external energy first. As now. The sky regains its usual cadence as Emii obscures it with colour, and Sherri smiles.)

Emii: [Drawing on any and all of Sherri's excess and rapidly-shedding power, she boosts her speed and her trails - she's attempting to create something of a picture in the sky. It's.......subjective at best if she succeeds. In the clouds and trails - that she has since began holding steady - lies the image of a fairly tall uso with a sweeping tail, holding the hand of a smaller, horned individual. The colors Emii uses match up predictably. It's meant to be Sherri and Emii.]
