Alfa-Bank Pervaya Liga is the top division professional association football league in Peterburgia. The competition is administered by the Peterburgia Football Association. There are 27 teams in the competition. The league has five Champions League qualifying spots given to the top five teams at the end of the season and the five Europa League spots will be allocated to the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and nineth placed teams. The last five teams are relegated to the Vtoaraya Liga at the end of the season.

- PNR Vtoraya programma - cultural radio station. Its programming is designed to appeal to listeners of all ages for whom knowledge and learning are sources of interest and pleasure. The channel's speech content consists of features, talks, drama, readings, magazine and discussion programmes in which the emphasis is on dealing with matters extensively and in depth.
