Hunter Jordan Blume, You’re about to start (or have already started) your last Assessment and Selection! There are no perfect words to describe how proud I am of you. Though special warfare training has been anything but luxurious, you continue to endure and push through adversity. You are the hardest worker I have ever met. You are a consistent and steady leader for me and the men around you. You consider it all joy and build your brothers up. You love others sacrificially and with all you have (“so that others may live” right?). I am humbled everyday by you and I can’t tell you how grateful I am that you live this way. When I miss you like crazy, I am comforted knowing you are right where you are suppose to be. God makes no mistakes and He’s in it with you. Here’s what I’m praying for you: 1. I am praying and trusting that you are in a safe place with leadership who are watching you constantly and know what is best to keep you well in order to make it through everyday. 2. The first 5 days: I pray God gives you super-natural energy and amazing lung capacity to hold your breath through every single underwater, ten up, crossover etc. I pray your muscles stay relaxed and don’t cramp up. 3. Hydration: I pray you stay hydrated so that your body can feel strong and function well through every obstacle. 4. That this experience will inflate your faith as it is doing for me. I pray in your weakness you lean on Christ and the amazing men around you (2 Corinthians). 5. Endure: I pray God through his Holy Spirit gives you the power to endure and contend for the faith (Jude 3) as you literally and figuratively fight/struggle for a greater mission. 6. We keep an open posture to the Lord, knowing we are not sovereign over or in control of the outcome of this process. I pray you know who’s you are and this truth gives you peace in any circumstance. 7. I pray on days we are missing each other, that we can find encouragement & motivation knowing MARRIAGE is on the other side! I love you and treasure you Hunter Jordan Blume aka My future HUSBAND! You are more than worth it, Mollie
