1. Undergraduates/Part-time - These tutors have not attained a degree or diploma yet. These tutors charge the least, but may have fewer available time slots. Their teaching methods might differ from the rigid teaching style of MOE-teachers which might be a plus! 2. Full-Time Tutors- These have graduated from local university and they are providing tuition full time as their occupation. They usually have more years of experience in teaching and are in tempo with student's learning style but their rates are relatively high than that of part-time tutor. These teachers are not MOE-trained 3. MOE-trained/Current School Teachers- These tutors who have been trained in NIE/MOE/TTC and are most familiar with the current school syllabus. They are still teaching OR have taught in MOE or international schools (relief teachers are excluded) They tend to ask for higher rates but they have the most amount of resources and are familiar with the latest syllabus and marking schemes by SEAB.
