Hello! My name is Alicia Howse - I'd like to formally introduce myself and my partner Lucy Davidson, as your Ashgrove State School polling booth leaders for this coming Saturday. 

It is looking to be an extraordinary weekend, with the potential to absolutely shake the foundations of our state government with some truly positive change from a truly great candidate. 

This Saturday, we as a team have an opportunity to have a huge impact on the outcome of this election. Your contribution to this booth is essential in swinging votes, changing the public perception of The Greens in Ashgrove, and making people realise we are a party on the way to victory. 

Our strategy to this weekend is threefold:-
1. We want to get a how-to-vote (HTV) card into every single voter's hands, and for it to be on the top of the pile when they walk into the booth.
2. We will make sure every person coming in to vote has been told a policy (e.g. The greens are the only party that refuse corporate donations, Vote 1 Greens) and that we are on track to win. 
3. We endeavour to maintain a positive, fun, and engaging presence at the booth - this way people will see us as confident in winning this seat. 

I will be reaching out to you all individually with the times you have committed to, and a few extra bits of admin that need to be sorted.
