I'll write a story summary: Sean and Eun are two 19 yr olds who met at Seoul Int. Airport. But Sean was leaving for Germany, and Sean was staying in South Korea. Now, Sean is in Germany, hiding indoors from the Cobitch. While Eun worries for Sean in the better safety of SK. Sean has to follow evac guidelines from lgu as resources become difficult to distribute in such an event. She goes around Europe by orders of evac by the Government. Sean on the other hand, doesn't have it as bad. But he worries for relatives in Europe. Sean evacs around Europe as the EU try to save as many people as possible from hotspots. Story experience is reminiscent of middle eastern immigrants entering Europe, as she faces the stigma of being a pitied immigrant/evacuee. As Sean was transported to Estonia, miraculously not catching the virus, despite the people she knew got it, Gyeonggi Province, the biggest province in SK got a giant outbreak in just a week. Eun went missing from family and Sean for a month, as SK is in critical state. Sean is mortified. Eun went missing, her family lives in one of the hotspots, and she sees no end to when she can go home. Estonia provides Sean with a stable university and job, as Estonia has been locked down from anymore people from entering/leaving. Sean's stresses get worse by the day, as she faces the uncertainty in SK. After 2 months, she happens to meet Eun's grandparents (Whom I'll call **** and Dick). Dick tells Sean that Eun last told them he was in Gangwong province 2 days before the outbreak. Sean had relatives in Gangwon, so she suspected her parents informed her relatives that Sean has a love interest, and her relatives found him by chance and "kidnapped" him to their home for the weekend. She calms down for the first time in weeks, then, she received news that her Grandparents in Gangwon caught the virus and died. They lived near her relatives' place, so she's back in stress. The story shifts to Eun's perspective. Eun did meet Sean's rel. (Who I'll call bitches), but they hadn't been to their gp's place yet. When news broke the bitches took it hard, but recollected themselves and set up a perimeter in their house. Eun's having a crash course in korean culture from bitches who just lost their loved ones. Then, news broke that while the Gyeonggi province situation was finally isolated, the last trails of the virus was scattering near their town, and were ordered to leave the town to designated selft-sustaining zones for the week as the government is still purifying everywhere else of the damn country. Police visited their home and had ordered the bitches to move to evac. They complied and were preparing to leave in 2 hours. Unfortunately, they remembered, Sean's aunt lives in a farm not too far from the town. And the bitches were going to be accounted for the evac countings. So they asked Eun to watch over their Aunt for a week. He obviously complied. He managed to escape evac safely and get to (who I'll after this mention, call Hoe) Sean's Aunt at their farm. Hoe looked at Eun and said "well, does a sexy foreigner like you want to get deep in me?" *in korean "Sorry, but I'm just your niece Sean's friend." Hoe was surprised then briefly embarassed. Hoe then proceeds to tell the backstory of the farm, their family history, and why Sean was the first of their current living family to leave SK. Eun helps Hoe out with farm duty, he keeps a journal to document his experience there. And what was supposed to be a week turned to a month. As the town was being pushed back in sanitation cause other provinces kept having lesser, but wider repeated outbreaks. After like a month and a week, it was now safe to go back to the bitches' place. Hoe told Eun she really wanted to **** him, and considered making him drunk to get away with it. (She always got drunk every other night, somehow.) But she abstained for her niece. Bitches were worried if Hoe took his virginity, she didn't. SK was finally clean of the virus after 110,000 infections, and 20,100 deaths. Eun now went back to his family in Seoul. They were all safe, fortunately. Now Eun waits for Sean to come home. Goes back to Sean Sean was caught up after 3 and a half months of nothing. She was embarassed, pissed, and relieved. She can now finish her studies with a big weight off her shoulders. A year and a half since the virus came, a vaccine was made and urgently mass administered to over 5 billion people. Another 3 years passed. Sean finished her studies, and 2 months later of doing nothing, she received news that Hoe died to Liver cancer, and had opted to die sooner rather than later. She travels back around Europe to pay homage and respects to the people she had met. She visits some of them and their families before finally going back to SK. When she made it back to SK, she flashes back to all the times Hoe spoiled her. Flashes back to the times she didn't like that much spoiling. She finds Eun chilling in the lobby - Sean: *slaps Eun with her muscular arms "How the **** did you know I was here?? I didn't tell anyone" Eun's just in shock and awe Sean gets embarassed as hell cause people stare at them cause she yelled. She frantically apologizes to everyone around her, the people just chuckle and move on. She's even more embarassed. Eun: "I just chill here whenever I can. I can't- I really can't believe you're here!" They hug and sit down for a minute. They both feel like they've known each other since childhood through knowing each other's backstories. Bitches showed up with snacks, not expecting Sean. But there she was. They all screamed and were so happy. Sean was even more embarassed. She was piled up in hugs. Sean visits Hoe's grave with Eun and his step-parents. SP: "You had such wonderful people, Sean. I'm glad to have known them." Sean: "...She didn't have to keep maintaining the farm. I could've just paid people to maintain it for me. But I guess she liked how she could keep drinking all that alchohol in peace." - SP: "Eun didn't take it well either, he cried like a baby when he heard for the first time." The story concludes with Eun and Sean leaving SK to find a new beginning. SP and the bitches became family already, even though Sean and Eun aren't even officially in a relationship - Notes: "Want me to put more detail on the summary of Sean's evac adventures?" Its a terrible summary :/ - So Sean had just moved in to her dorm in the uni. For the first month nothing happened. Then, the Cobitch had begun transmittion in France. Suspected to have originated in India. EU started reporting by the thousands each day, and had serious effects. Germany started quarantining suspects, but the virus had already entered. The infected took 5 days until any symptoms or signs can be visible, and is contagious at 3 days. While India was quickly locked down, The world started spiraling into lockdowns and quarantines. EU ordered all countries to immediately lockdown, isolate, and contain. Germany had the 4th most cases, and Sean's city had cases. School was suspended, as technology from the early 2000's isn't that good. So for the first 2 weeks was when everyone was strictly indoors, janitors started showing up over the course of a few days, and the economy was on a standstill. The first wave was well suppressed, leniency was allowed temporarily. Then, it was discovered, that there were actually 2 viruses. The 2nd, more recently discovered was also contagious at 3 days, but took a whole month until symptoms showed. And when it showed, there was a 15% mortality rate with severely debilitating effects. The world went into a state of emergency. EU ordered another immediate lockdown and quarantine. Sean's peers, who she had just known for over a month, caught the virus. Out of 400 of them, 72 died 1 1/2 months after contracting. Germany, and the EU became too unorderly to leave everyone at their houses. Too inconsistent transmittion patterns. So they ordered evac facilities/zones. Safe towns were reinforced to protect and accomodate evacs. Sean and some of her safe friends were evac'd at the same town. Since there wasn't much to do, she just decided to talk with the locals and try to help out. Obviously as a foreigner she had special precautions in place. But she earned the trust of some locals and had a nice 2 months in the town. Germany had 10% of the population currently infected. Absolute disaster. Facilities are overrun, and equipment are already on war time production speed. It was too difficult to manage all millions of their populace into just few thousands of safe towns. And sanitation efforts are ineffective at guaranteeing old hotspots can be safe to reopen. Same for the other countries, so the EU decided to collaborate. Since not all countries were equally struck by the virus, a segragation was enacted. Uninfected Citizens of each country were being relocated to safer, less affected countries and towns, as the more badly struck countries cannot guarantee their safety much longer at such a large populi. But troublemakers persisted. Some infected snuck into the relocation groups and worsened the situation. Sean went to Germany, Romania, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, to Finally Estonia. She had lost track of her school mates. She later found out more of her peers contracted and died. During the relocation between Romania and Belgium, she had been huddled with soldiers. She met an ex soldier named Laura, a french lady combatant. Laura was Sean's acting guardian throughout the ordeal because when they first met in Romania, Laura saved Sean from *** offenders, and thought her as her own sibling. Sean had no shot at getting any education while she's in town havens. And each time more assholes kept snuggling in, some deliberately with the virus. Sean also met 4 other significant people, Charles, Agata, Pietro and Harold. They became a familiar group of 6 when they all met at Switzerland. Charles was British and had lost his father to Cobitch while he was touring in Spain. Agata lost her only sibling to it while she was working in France, was a mess when they met. Pietro was Spanish and his fiancee is in critical condition back in Spain, while he was also working as a watch smith in Switzerland, and Harold's Nordic and was studying in Germany for his engineering degree. For the 3 months they stayed in Switzerland, it was relatively peaceful. They had a big sibling family dynamic and Laura especially tried to cheer up Agata. But then the government relocated Charles and Pietro to a different town, to balance out manageable quantity per town. Then, 2 weeks later, Switzerland was forced to transfer the evacuees because capacity limit. And it would be the last time they would meet. At least for the next 4 years. Laura was relocated to Ireland, and Sean, Harold and Agata to Poland. They settled there for another 2 months, as it was extremely difficult to contain the virus. It was highly pathogenic. Sean wondered how her family was doing, and if Eun is okay. Agata asked Sean about her family, and she found comfort in hearing about a (relatively) happy extended family. Harold asked Agata about hers, and then revealed her parents died a decade ago in an accident. Her only sibling survived the accident and miraculously made a full recovery, but she was so scared of losing her - Despite being the younger sibling, Agata was willing to step up her role and do more for her sibling. Her sibling studied in Portugal, unfortunately the 2nd highest infected per capita in EU. They had a sad evening. But Agata felt a bit more relieved that her burdens were heard. Harold said he was raised by his grandparents in Canada, because his parents also died around a decade ago. Being an only child, he still wanted to empathize with loving family. He only managed to study in Germany because his parents left him a fortune. Sean asked Harold about where he studied in Germany, and it turned out Harold knew Sean's peers. He got sad remembering losing his friends, so was Sean. But they all were able to get by the night, and then the following weeks. Then, a month later, purified countries have been established, that being Sweden, Norway, and Estonia so far. Harold and Sean were designated to Estonia, and Agata to Norway. They bid each other a warm farewell, and relocated for the last time. Harold was designated at a different city than Sean, so they also bid farewell. They'd visit each other for some time. Then, news came in, Sean and Harold heard Laura succumbed during an outbreak in Ireland, Pietro was in critical condition in the Netherlands. Charles was safe in Finland. Sean was a mess for a whole month at news of her friends, especially Laura. Harold too. Laura had taught Sean a shit ton of survival things and stories of her personal life, and she looked up to her. And she died. Sean and Harold got a surprise call from Charles and Agata. Both heard about Laura and Pietro. Charles caught them up on Pietro's condition. He's recovering miraculously well, along with his fiancee. And told them they're being relocated to Estonia. When they grouped together again, Charles had a gift from Laura to Sean. It was a swiss knife with Laura's custom officer badge keychain on it. Laura gave it to Charles, and trusted him to give it to her, because she doesn't know who among them would be able to meet her in the future for her birthday (literally the day after they grouped up). And also a letter: "Sorry this is the best I can give you, there isn't a lot of stuff I have when malls are closed and we're stuck in refugee camps all the time. But I hope you like it! And hope we meet again soon :)" Sean bawled her tear sacs out. They all comforted her. Agata was actually eligible to have permanent residency in Estonia and took the chance. So she'll be able to consistently help Harold and Sean out with some stuff. As for Charles, he's only around until England becomes safe to return so he can properly mourn for his father. Charles hung around for 4 months. After another month, Estonia gave evacuee students the chance for education and work. Harold and Sean studied in neighbouring unis. They'd chill few times a month, and generally became more like homies. Queue to her stresses -this ends around when I detailed what she's been doing in Estonia- After 3 years of education, Sean graduated while Harold was going for Master's degree. Agata and Charles congratulated them. And Charles got married. Sean went around Europe to visit the less canonically important people (like the townsfolk in the towns), and Laura's grave in Denmark (She was half Aussie and Danish) As Sean was at the airport, thinking about going home, she received a call from Pietro. Told her to visit him in Spain. Pietro and his wife Elise welcomed her to their new mansion. Pietro: "Sean, in my darkest days, you, Laura, and everyone were there for me. Out of nothing but kindness, you treated me like family. Even for just 2 months, it had struck my heart for eternity, the gratitude I had to meet all wonderful people like you. And it pained me that it took so, so long that me and Elise could only return the unpayable favor now, but please, accept this." Pietro offered Sean one HELL of a beautiful watch. Embedded with the finest metal, engravings, craftsmanship, and most importantly, passion. The watch also had all 6 of their names engraved on the rear of the watch. "I've made one for all 6 of us, but for Laura, bless her kind soul, I gave to you. I know I'm 5 weeks late, but happy birthday." Pietro and Elise toured Sean around Spain for weeks. Had one hell of a time. And when it was time for her to go home, Elise: "It was wonderful knowing you, Sean. No wonder my love also cared for you." Pietro: "And, tell that Eun he better be grateful to have such a wonderful woman!" Elise: "And he better know to kneel for you too, seƱora." Sean was very embarassed -
