-=The Betalands Chunk Shift Glitch=- There’s a glitch that shifts chunks to the east by one chunk. It’s caused when the player enters the nether portal and gets back from the nether while the chunks are unloading (around 10 seconds). -Duping- This glitch allows to obtain blocks that are chunk shifted. This allows to break, for example block of dirt and get the item from the block that is exactly one chunk away to east from the broken block. Note: the shifted block must drop item (you need to use the tool that can break that block normally) -Bedrock- This glitch also allows to obtain bedrock, because it apparently drops as an item when broken. Normally, you can’t place bedrock in the world, because of the plugin that prevents that. Using the chunk shift glitch, it’s possible to place bedrock in the world. Note: there’s a plugin that checks for bedrock in a player's inventory. It checks every 2-5 minutes. It’s best to store bedrock in a chest and hold a minimal amount at a time. There are still some quirks about bedrock protection that is still undocumented. -LWC Protection- The server is using LWC for container protection. If a container is placed, it automatically protects itself. When placing a double chest, only one side is actually protected and the second side just checks for the protected side and inherits it’s protection. It’s possible to open double chests using the chunk shift by clicking on the unprotected side of the chest. Because the blocks are shifted, the protection is no longer protecting the chest, but a block one chunk to the east. The protected are still exist though. So you can’t use single block protected containers. -LWC Protection p.2- You can protect any block by placing a trapdoor one chunk to the east from the block you want to protect. Then, you execute chunk shift glitch and use /cprivate on the block you want to protect. The plugin thinks that you actually protected the trapdoor one chunk away. -Towny- Towny protected areas have some special properties. It allows you to use all switches in the shifted chunks (doors, chests, levers, etc.). If you break a block, it will be replaced by a block shifted one chunk to east. That allows to duplicate unobtainable blocks (not as an item), like spawners, portal blocks, dead bushes, etc. -How to stay safe- Do not have a nether portal near your chests (8 chunks). Use single block containers.
