It glowed with prismatic light and radiated incredible energy, yet that very light and energy concealed what exactly laid at the comet's heart. They knew it held power-power enough to forge a new Black Comet, power enough to reshape and revive their species back from the bleeded remnants that was all that was left of them now. They could sense Chaos Energy, Hyper Go-On, Psychic Energy, something unquantifiable-all in such incredible amounts that it was like staring into the heart of a supernova that simply remained stable and flying forward throughout the universe. As they tracked it, more and more of that unquantifiable energy disappeared, and the Chaos, Hyper Go-On, and Psychic signatures grew more and more powerful-as if it was converting itself into those other three forms. This spurred the Black Arms Remnants on further, hoping to catch it before the entirety of that unquantifiable power was lost...but they were simply too slow, and too late. The comet approached the planet, seeming to lose mass, shrinking, burning away in atmosphere...and when it impacted, the entire planet split apart into tectonic plates that floated around a living, writhing molten core. And then a living firestorm sprung up upon the planet, screaming out to the universe. And then a literal living ocean shaped like a dragon emerged, and began battling the living firestorm. And then a living tide of silver nanomachines claimed another third of the planet. And at that point, the Black Arms Remnats decided that they would do the greater universe a rare favor and isolate any of these things from escaping the planet and wreaking havoc elsewhere. Let all the apocalyptic beings and grey goo scenarios burn themselves out against each other. It took some weeks for these apocalypses to truly ramp up after the impactor split the world, and in the meantime, there was a crater on the planet Mobius. Around that crater were the remnants of a great deal of metals and gemstones, and further still were shredded and burnt bits of paper money. In the center of that still burning crater, emanating fading prismatic lights, was an unconscious Mobian-a hedgehog, to be precise. She was young, still a teenager by her looks and body size. Her hair and fur was a dull purple; the hair on her head was long, and would cover her eyes and most of her back if it was not splayed out by her impact. And of course, she was entirely ***** and unconscious. A green-haired hedgehog poked her head over the lip of the crater, staring at the occupant with both bafflement and annoyance. "This is gonna be bad for business..." She murmured to herself. "Alley-oop!" She huffed, jumping into the crater. She was wearing a red business suit, which she dusted for a moment as she walked up to the unconscious hedgehog. Without fanfare, she began to nudge the unconscious Mobian with her foot. "Hey, wake up. Get up, kid." The purple hedgehog groaned, curling in on herself briefly, until disturbed by another nudge from the green hedgehog. Slowly, she pulled herself into a sitting position, rubbbing her eyes as she did so. A moment later her eyes snapped wide-shining with prismatic light for a few moemnts, before settling into a deep crystalline blue as she began to look around the crater. "Hey kid, what the heck's with all of this?" The green-haired hedgehog demanded of the purpole one. The purple hedgehog started at the green one for several moments, then opened her mouth. "W͞҉̶h͏̡̕͜͡á̴̧̨͠t͏̀-̛̀w̕͞͝h̶͜é̢͟͡r̢͢e̸̢̧̕͏-͏̷́҉L͏̕͢I̴͠G̡̕͘͞͝H̨͜T̶̀-̧̨̀͝͠ẁ̧̛͟h̷̸̡̕̕ò͜͢͜ ́̕a̛͘̕͜m̵̸̷̧-͏̷̶́͞C̵͢͟Ḩ̶͢͝À͘O̧͘͟͜S̷̢̀̀" Several voices emerged from her mouth at the same time, speaking different things in different languages, creating a discordant mess. She closed her mouth, seeming to concentrate for a moment, then spoke again-much more slowly and quietly. "Where...am I?" The green hedgehog nodded to herself. 'It's always the aliens.' She thought. "You're in Casino Park, kid. But you probably don't know what that is-this is Empire City of the United Federation, Northamer. And because I'm sure you'll ask, this is the planet Mobius. What's your name, kid?" The purple hedgehog thought for a long while, scrunching her face up in confusion for several moments, before answering. "Gene...sis. I am...Genesis." She answered. The green hedgehog favored Genesis with a smile. "Good to have you onboard, Genesis. I'm Breezie, and as of today I own your ass." This would mark the start of their relationship, and years of Breezie exploiting Genesis for mind-boggling profit. 0-0-0-0-0 It was several weeks after Genesis had landed on Mobius, and she thought she was getting a hang of her new existence. This Mobian body-HER body, now-was infinitely better than her previous human body. This life, though hard and full of constant stress, was much more exciting and incredible than her previous one. Breezie was a harsh mistress, but fair and good at directing her to profit. And all of that didn't even mention the powers at her fingertips. Genesis ran across the earth, staring at a frozen world. At the speeds she was moving at, it was as if time was brought to a standstill. In this moment, when the world was brought to a halt and she was the only thing that moved, she felt a sense of peace and freedom that left her utterly breathless. And that was just the very beginning of her new gifts. A thought saw a slit in reality opening up before her eyes, a light tear held open with mental fingers. She slipped through, and beheld a golden world of light and power, infinite potential yet unrealized. She didn't stay long-just barely a moment, just long enough to open another slit and slip back through into reality, several meters forward. It was further than she could move in a single "jump" just a couple weeks back; her skill was growing quickly, though she still didn't have the courage to draw upon the chaotic golden force in that strange world. Instead of that, Genesis turned to a different light-a light in countless colors that laid within her heart. Tapping into just a small fraction of that light made a prismatic aura begin to surround her, and she shot through the desert with renewed speed. She let go of the prismatic light a moment later, letting it fade back into her while she retained the momentum her burst of speed granted her; like this, she found she could stretch out her reserves of "rainbow light" far more than simply burning them all at once. Right now, Breezie had her searching through a distant desert for some old Babylonian ruins; the green hedgehog was quick to help Genesis discover her amazing powers, and even quicker to use them for money-making opportunities that were simply impossible if you couldn't cross the breadth of a continent a dozen times over in an afternoon. She'd already made a pretty hefty sum for Breezie via high-speed courier service, good transporation, and other such things-and as the world got more chaotic with the emergence of Dark Gaia, Iblis, The Metal Overlord, and Chaos emerging all at once in a for-way battle for the planet, the zome of peace that Genesis herself could establish via her powers and services let Mobians flock under Breezie's banner...and let money flow into Breezie's coffers. Speaking of-Genesis ducked, striking out with a fist clad in prismatic whisps at a spike of silvery material, shattering it with a sensation somewhere between her hand passing through a dusting of water and a stiff breeze. She jumped into the air-meters into the air-and shot back down at a glowing node in front of her. Her feet smashed directly into it, and the latest extension of the Metal Overlord's nanomachines began self destructing. Despite destroying that metal force, Genesis frowned. It wasn't a good sign to see the Metal Overlord's forces out this way; this was Iblis's territory. Looks like the clashes would be spreading a little closer to Empire City soon. Her body was powerful, there was no doubt about it. She could fight off the forces of all four of those living apocalypses pretty easy, and did so on a daily basis during patrols around Empire City-keeping the place a bastion of peace in the process. But those forces were small for now, merely scouts and dregs from distant masters...she didn't know how she'd handle herself against a whole army of them, let alone their masters directly. Pensive frown firmly in place, Genesis ran onwards. A few entirely subjective minutes later-in truth, maybe a whole a second had passed since she had first set out from Casino Park on this latest mission-Genesis arrived at the temple that Breezie suggested held a great deal of ancient Babylonian treasures. Genesis slowed down her running, and simultaneously began pulling on the prismatic energy within her; if she wanted to maintain the accelerated perception that her running granted her and remain in this frozen world while "jogging", "walking", or "staying still", she had to pull this trick for now. It had something to do with her simply not being acclimated to processing things at those speeds while not running; if she got more used to moving at those speeds, she could keep her accelerated perception on at all times. But for now, this extremely crude workaround would have to do. Slowly-at least subjectively-Genesis began to wander into the ancient temple. She stopped to stare at and consider inscriptions, marvelled at architecture, and in many ways just...played tourist, just a bit. At these speeds she could afford to take her time and appreciate this monument to the ancient history of Mobius; she wasn't /wasting/ any time, at least. But as she progressed deeper into the temple, she began to notice signs of something being distinctly /off/. A patch of wall far less dusty than the rest of the wall. A set of footprints in sand winding deeper into the temple. A few pebbles, suspended in the air as they fell from the ceiling. And then, she found the source of these disturbances. An utterly beautiful white bat Mobian, eyes only just beginning to widen. Large hips, luscious *******, soft and plump lips, beautiful shining eyes...everything about her simply sung to Genesis's heart. She knew the name of this Mobian before having ever met her...Rouge the Bat. And several meters behind Rouge, aimed directly at her head, was a sharp spike of metal-even now, moving at what appeared to be a very slow crawl towards the bat. Genesis's eyes widened. In this accelerated state, the entirety of the world should be frozen-she could sit down and stare at a fired bullet for subjective hours, and it would only seem to move perhaps an inch. For this spike of metal to be /visibly moving/ while she was like this... There was no way Rouge could ever react in time. Genesis was her only hope of survival. Genesis ran, moving around Rouge and began to push the spike of metal away-but it was heavy, incredibly so, and resisted her pushing. Even the toughest of metals that Genesis had previously encountered felt like loose snow underneath her fingers while she was moving this fast...but this spike of metal felt like /actual metal/. Even the heaviest of objects felt like lifting styrofoam at these weights...but this spike of metal felt like pushing against a wall. Genesis grit her teeth, and called up more prismatic light from within. Not just a trickle or a dreg, but a flood of prismatic light-and in moments she burned with alien power. The metal spike began to give under her hands, and slowly turned away from Rouge...until finally it pointed down the corridor rather than at the bat's head. Genesis cut the prismatic light, and a moment later a sonic boom rang out-the railgun spike shooting off down the corridor while Genesis herself slumped down and panted on the floor. Channeling that sort of power really took it out of her... "Holy...looks like I might just owe you my life, miss." A husky and seductive voice rang out as Genesis attempted to catch her breath. Rouge sauntered over and crouched in front of Genesis. "Could I know the name of my saviour?" "Gen..." Genesis attempted to say her name, still panting. "Gen...cute name, for a cute girl. What were you doing out here, anyways?" Genesis-or Gen, as Rouge called her-finally got her breathing back under control. That didn't exactly make her any better at talking to such a beautiful woman, unfortunately. "Breezie sent me to look for treasure..." She mumbled out. Rouge frowned. "Ah, that's a bit annoying. Hmm...Tell you what; we'll split what we find. I'll just take the particularly nice jewels and gems, and you can have the other treasures. Deal?" Rouge smiled flirtatiously at Genesis. "S-sure..." Genesis answered back, blushing heavily now. Rouge got a mischevious gleam in her eye, beginning to suspect something. Her smile pulled wider, and she immediately lunged in-for a kiss on Gen's cheek. "Thanks, darling! I just know I'll be able to count on you~!" Genesis was far too busy blushing from head to toe and stammering something along the lines of "awawawa" to be able to respond to that, and only numbly followed after the bat deeper into the ruins. Rouge mentally congratulted herself on this feat; her looks never let her down. At first Rouge began to make small talk with Genesis, intending to wind the lovestruck hedgehog further around her finger...but found that she actually began to take a liking to the girl. She was skittish, a bit naive, and had a habit of talking slowly in a way that made her seem a bit simple-minded...but she was also incredibly cute, and charming for all that. Plus, she /did/ save Rouge's life without a second thought. That counts for a lot. And as the two progressed further into the ruins, she did it again several times over; the ancient Babylonians had set up traps based on gravity manipulation, with hyperdense metals and gravitic railguns being frequent. Rouge would never have been able to react to any of these, let alone dodge-but Genesis? Now that she knew what she was looking for, and had some time to catch her breath, this was effortless for her to handle. Sure the railguns themselves were incredibly hard to move...but Rouge could be moved pretty easily, and that worked out far better. And let her subtly touch and grope Rouge too, though Genesis would never admit to that. Several hours passed in this way, and the pair of Rouge and Genesis proceeded to loot this Babyloniant temple to the bedrock as best they could. From ancient Babylonian tech and metals, riches, texts, artifacts, anything and everything they could get their hands on-and with Gen's help, they could easily transport all of it with a simple trick of telekinesis-another power that Gen had discovered rather early on, and a handy one at that. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and a relationship that would span countless lifetimes. ...And also how the two of them pissed off a resident djinn who would proceed to hunt them down and curse them at every available opportunity for "ransacking her home". Luckily, not a very powerful djinn! And Gen willingly took the brunt of the djinn's attentions, since she was powerful enough to handle it. 0-0-0-0-0 "Grr...blasted hedgehog! Get back here so I can kill you!" A young girl's voice shouted, shortly followed by the sound of missiles launching and subsequently exploding. Gen only ran faster in response. "I prefer life!" She called back, ducking and weaving through trees in order to avoid the hail of bullets coming from above-constantly moving at a steady hundreds of miles an hour, of course. Practically a leisurely strolling pace her for, admittedly, but there was a purpose to this. "What is with this world and crazy girls? First Dinya, then Bump, now this Mini-Egg-girl?" She muttered to herself, still moving forward even as the treeline gave way to plains, and those plains began to show cracks and lone fires dotting the landscape. And then quite suddenly there simply was no more time for muttering, as Iblis's minions began to quite literally pull themselves out of the cracked ground, fall from the sky, or even just straight up coalesce out of nothing. Genesis set her mouth in a grim line, and poured on the speed-going from a casual couple-hundred miles and hour or so to a blistering several times the speed of sound. The world around her ground to a halt as she did, but she ignored that-instead jumping into the air, and launching herself forward in a burst of distinctly purple light. Her feet impacted against one minion, and she springboarded off of it even as it began to blow apart in slow motion-immediately launching herself to the next, and then the next, and the next. The Homing Attack, as tricky as it was to learn, was a powerful tool in her arsenal...and more importantly, let her save up her prismatic power for when she actually /needed/ it, rather than expending tiny amounts to destroy each and every minion. A moment afterwards, Gen slowed herself back to a leisurely pace, and dodged a stream of bullets coming from her young pursuer. "You're not gonna lose me that easily, hedgehog!" Omelette called out from within her eggmobile. As she did so, several missiles shot out to the sides-destroying a number of Iblis minions in the process, and saving Gen just that much work. And thus we came to the crux of why exactly Genesis was leading Omelette on a chase through this blasted desert-like hellscape. Today was an Iblis Culling Day, and Breezie was paying her (or rather, removing debt from her) based on how much of Iblis's enemies and territory were destroyed by the end of the day. Omelette...was not particularly much of a threat, not riled up like this anyways. What she /was/ good at was collateral damage. Fighting her in Empire City would've just seen more debt piling up on Gen, whereas fighting her out in these wastes...well, the results spoke for themselves. Gen and Omelette moved through the blasted wasteland like this, destroying a veritable army of Iblis Minions as they went. Every now and again Gen would accelerate herself to imperceptibility, then move backwards through areas that they'd already cleared. She'd raise her hands; one hand would hold a small but dense spark of prismatic energy from within herself, while the other opened up a /tiny/ hole in the world to the golden realm she could access, allowing streams of golden light to begin shooting out. With the hand holding the prismatic light she began to catch those golden streams; the prismatic light seemed to let her hold them and actively shape them, as if playing with clay. While she shaped them an expression of great focus appeared on her face, and a construct of golden light began to emerge. At the end of that focus was a golden ring, threaded through with prismatic threads and holding a bright white core in its center. Without fanfare, Gen shoved this strange ring directly into the ground. The strange ring sank straight through the earth, and a subjective moment later a spot of pure white light emerged from the earth where the ring had sank in. Gen nodded to herself, and promptly ran back to where she had been before-swift enough that Omelette wouldn't realize that she'd abandoned the chase for a micro-instant to achieve this task. Gen knew that a wave of light would spread out from that spot, and as it passed the earth would be healed; the wastes restored to grassy plains, cracks in the earth filling in, and the remaining embers from Iblis being put out. It was a trick she'd figured out through experimentation and dealing with Dinya the Djinn, along with knowledge from her past life. "Chaos was Power, Enriched by the Heart"; if she focused herself, drew forth the Chaos Energy from that golden world she could access, and focused her heart...she could use it to actively restore the world around her. Unfortunately she wasn't an Echidnan sage or even just someone with a lot of experience with wielding Chaos Energy, so she had to use a crutch; the prismatic light within her responded to her will, rather than emotions. She drew that up, infused it with her thoughts and intentions, and used it to shape and focus the Chaos Energy she needed. The end result was mentally and physically straining...but allowed her to actively heal the land as she passed through it, and even establish barriers that kept the forces of the Apocalyptic Quartet out for a good while. As the activities of the Apocalyptic Quartet had picked up in the past couple weeks, this was how Genesis managed to maintain Empire City as a safe zone. It wasn't a perfect solution; her "blessing" tended to wear off after a couple days, lasting a week at the absolute longest she'd managed so far. Breezie, of course, was /entirely/ okay with that state of affairs; it let her charge protection subscriptions after all. And she still had to weaken the apocalyptic forces in the area-remove all the enemies she could-to ensure the blessing and barrier were as powerful and stable as she could make them before moving on... It was good that she could fix places, but it was only a temporary measure, in the end. This thought nagged at Gen as she dodged Omelette's attacks, fought against Iblis minions, and healed the land around her. All she did was treat the symptoms of the issue, put a bandage over a gaping wound. As content as Breezie was with the situation-making money hand over fist via charging for protections, safe deliveries of goods and services, and much more-Genesis herself had enough morals to acknowledge that this state of things couldn't last. If someone didn't come around to put the world back together eventually... Never was this thought more obvious than when she spotted a Genesis Portal, opening up right before her eyes. Before Omelette could notice it Gen reached out with her psychic powers and forced the portal shut, preventing anything from the alternate timeline from leaking through. Omelette herself had actually come through one of those Genesis Portals, just before Gen had finished closing it-stranding her in this reality, and beginning their grudge. The very fabric of reality was fraying apart, Gen acknowledged. Things /could not/ go on this way, not for much longer. She was scared of those apocalyptic monsters, Gen acknowledged. They were massive, horrifying beasts-beasts that were literally shredding the planet and reality apart. But...Sonic was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he was on a different planet, or a different Zone, but there was nobody who had the sheer power needed to stop these rampaging monsters. Nobody...except her. Genesis knew how much latent power she had within her. If she tapped fully into the prismatic power, if she learned to actively harness the Chaos Energy she could call up on a whim, if she pushed her telekinesis and speed to the absolute limits...Sonic needed the Chaos Emeralds to go Super. If she mastered manipulating the golden realm, Genesis could potentially do it on a whim. She could be far more powerful than Sonic EVER was...if only she had the courage and will to reach out and take that power. And she didn't have much longer to waffle on about this. The planet grew more unstable by the day, those titanic beasts and their forces clashing more often and more destructively. Either Genesis learned to tap into the power she held within her soon...or Mobius would be destroyed. 0-0-0-0-0 It's been almost six months to the day that Genesis crashed into Casino Park. She'd grown a lot stronger in that time. A lot faster. Perhaps not a lot wiser, she considered as she stared at the distant Metal Overlord and his army of machines, spreading a nanobot swarm across the land underneath them. Gen took a deep breath, focusing herself, and closed her eyes. "You sure you're ready for this, Gen?" Rouge asked her, placing a hand on Gen's shoulder. Gen smiled a little, then nodded. Then, she focused herself once again. Ever so gently, telekinetic fingers tore open seven small slits in the fabric of reality around her. Golden light began to pour from those slits as Gen spoke. "The servers are the Seven Chaos." She intoned, and the golden light of Chaos began to flow from those slits and into her body. "Chaos is power, enriched by the heart. The controller is the one who unifies the Chaos." The ancient echidnan prayer had no true power in her lips, but served as a powerful mnemonic. Seven streams of Chaos energy flowed into Genesis, concentrating within her body and soul. She focused herself, unifying the seven streams of power into one. She didn't try to control the Chaos directly, but instead guided it, /became/ it. She let the light and power fill her, her body becoming the unifying fulcrum of power for these streams. Lightning crackled along her body and her fur burnt from purple to gold; underneath her eyelids, her eyes were overcome with shining prismatic light. Genesis grimaced-and lightning lashed out from one of her arms, burning both the arm and a nearby rock in the process. Her control over this form was.../far/ from perfect. But they were nearly out of time at this point, and at the very least it was /good enough/. Genesis opened her eyes, and stared out to her first target. The Metal Overlord was simultaneously the easiest of the enemies she would be facing, and also the hardest. On the one hand, the Metal Overlord didn't have any of the bullshit immortality measures that the other apocalypses had; Iblis could revive infinitely, Dark Gaia couldn't truly be killed without destroying the planet, and Chaos would just reform from the water that composed it sometime after its destruction. The Metal Overlord may be morphic and capable of swift recovery, but once it was destroyed that would be that...assuming she got all of it and it didn't have any backups. Even still, it'd take the Metal Overlord a whole lot longer than the other three to revive and build its power back up. On the other hand...the Metal Overlord could adapt and generate new weaponry on the fly. It could grow and evolve in the midst of their battle. Gen had a rough idea of what she could expect when fighting the other apocalyptic monsters. With the Metal Overlord though? There was no telling what she'd face. She took a deep breath, calming her heart and allowing the Chaos to flow through her body more smoothly. Then, in a single smooth motion, Genesis launched herself from the cliffside and into the sky. Crackling lighting and winds of Chaos propelled her through the air as reality once again ground to a halt around her, and she moved faster than she'd ever moved before. And as she approached the Metal Overlord, a shiver ran down Gen's spine. Because in an otherwise frozen world... The Metal Overlord's eyes were following her. She raced forward and gathered power in her fists, intent on shooting straight through its head and killing it in a single blow...but the Metal Overlord moved backwards and dodged. IT was sluggish in her sight, but the fact that /it was moving/ while she was filled with such power and moving so fast, let along moving /fast enough to dodge her/...Genesis was right to be worried. "Did you think I was not prepared to face a Chaos-empowered hedgehog?" A mechanical voice, deep and gravelly, echoed out into the otherwise silent world around them. "You are not Sonic, puny creature, yet I will take great pleasure in ripping you limb from limb as I test out my latest anti-hedgehog protocols." Primal fear tugged at Gen's heart...but she grit her teeth, drew more Chaos into herself, and launched herself at the machine. The battle that followed would last years. It would last for just a few minutes. Time becomes strange and flexible when you move at such speeds. Genesis and the Metal Overlord clashed countless thousands of times, until grand golden light encompassed the entirety of the robot and his nanomachine sea. And then, there was an explosion-an explosion which rocked the entire continent of Northamer. The explosion faded, and all became silent. "Gen!" Rouge screamed, jumping out from where she'd been hiding on the distant cliffside and moving through the smokecloud left behind by the incredible explosion. In the center of all that smoke was a crater...and in the center of that crater, was Gen-burnt in several places and ***** as the day she was born once again. Rouge reached her and began to check the unconscious hedgehog over...and sighed in relief when she found that Gen was still alive. Rouge picked up the purple hedgehog and held her against herself. "Oh, you have no idea how worried I was, my gem." She murmured to Genesis. In spite of herself, the two of them had become close friends over the past several months...and though she denied it, Rouge even felt something a little bit more. Unknown to her, Genesis had woken up briefly as Rouge began to fuss over her. Before she could speak or communicate anything though, Rouge pulled her close in an embrace...notably, pulling Gen's head directly into her bountiful cleavage. Gen's skin burned red for reasons entirely unrelated to being in the heart of a continent-shaking explosion, and moments later she fell back unconscious-this time with a silly smile on her face. 0-0-0-0-0 It would be a couple weeks after that Gen recovered and trained herself up to face Dark Gaia, resulting in another close shave victory. She may not have had the power of Light Gaia to pull the world back together...but enough enriched Chaos Energy and Hyper Go-On (the proper name of the prismatic power within her...frankly "prismatic light" was a far better name) could do the job at least well enough. The world pulled back together, and with a steady stream of golden light at the center of Mobius, the cracks in the planet largely faded away. A month after that, Gen felt a strange disturbance in the golden world that she could call upon...and felt that now would be the perfect time to head out and take down Iblis. As she fought the living inferno, a similar golden blur would be seen almost on the opposite side of the planet fighting the living ocean that was Perfect Chaos. Eventually, Genesis beat Iblis down until all that was left was the immortal ember from which it would spring forth anew eternally. This was when preparations months in the making finally got to shine; Genesis pulled out a very unique Power Ring, gained from a Lake of Rings that had called to her. This Power Ring had been further augmented and enchanted by both Omelette and Dinya-reluctantly and with many favors promised to them-and purified once more in the Chaos Energy-infused waters of the Lake of Rings. Harnessing her tap to the limitless plane of Chaos Energy that was the Chaos Force, Genesis pulled the immortal ember of Iblis into the specially prepared Power Ring. The ring burnt an angry orange, and cybernetic markings throughout it began to light up while mystical glyphs glowed around it. As soon as Iblis's ember was fully sealed within the Power Ring, Genesis shoved it directly onto her wrist...and began to scream. The Iblis Ring shrank skin-tight around her wrist, sizzling and boiling her skin where it made contact as it quite literally melted her flesh. Glaring through teary eyes, Genesis channeled both Chaos Energy and prismatic light into the Iblis Ring. The heat died down, though the ring itself began shining even brighter...until a supernaturally loud "click" resounded, and the ring fell quiescent. This was the best solution she and her friends/rivals could think of for permanently defeating Iblis. Harnessing the matrix of energy that formed a Power Ring, augmenting it with advanced technology, reinforcing it with magic, then powering it with both Chaos and Hyper energy...it would be forcibly and permanently bonded to her body, but Iblis would be defeated for good as well. As a side benefit, she would be able to call on dregs of Iblis's flames and her own energies would grow stronger, faster due to the constant mild drain and suppression from the Iblis Ring. She had a similarly augmented ring packed away, specifically designed to seal away Chaos...but it would turn out that she wouldn't need to use it. Nearly at the same time that she'd defeated Iblis, the other golden blur defeated Perfect Chaos-bringing an end to the War of Four Gods, as the Mobians would later go on to title the event. Things became quite a bit more peaceful after that evdnt. It would still take Genesis several years to pay off her "debt" to Breezie...but after a long enough time, not even Breezie could continue to exploit Gen in good faith. Or at least legally, considering that Gen had single-handedly made her several dozen times the money Breezie lost when Gen first crash-landed on Mobius. Throughout those years, Gen and Rouge would have quite a few adventures together-treasure hunting being both profitable and rather fun. Their friendship grew practically unbreakable over the years-especially as they had to deal with traps, rivals, and occasionally threats from strange Genesis Portals. If it was up to Gen, she would've waited a good five years into her life in this world before so much as attempting to ask Rouge out. Luckily, Rouge was much more assertive than Gen was. It took her just three months after the War of Four Gods for the seductive Mobian to lose her patience and kiss Genesis silly. From that point on the two were a couple, and Gen wondered how she went her whole life without Rouge beforehand. And a year or two after the war itself, Genesis finally ran into the most powerful being on the planet...the blue blur, Sonic the Hedgehog. As a long-established habit, Gen went on daily runs across the breadth of Northamer-doing laps and timing herself to push herself to run just a /little/ bit faster every day. It was good exercise, and it gave her a chance to decompress in a place where time was essentially frozen-a place that was all her own. But today, in the distance, she saw someone moving in her personal frozen world. Someone moving rather fast, at that. Whatever it was noticed her as well, and subjective moments later the blue streak shot off from the distance to meet her. Genesis flinched back, stopping-and then the blue streak was right in front of her. "Hey, you're the one who stopped those other monsters and protected Empire City, right?" A happy, but surprisingly gentle voice asked her. She opened her eyes to see...Sonic, in the flesh, standing right in front of her and smiling. Sonic grinned a little wider at seeing how Genesis reacted to him. "It's nice to meet you! I'm Sonic; what's your name?" Genesis tried to push past the hero-worship of her childhood and past life and answer. "Ah; I'm Gen." She managed to answer. "Well, nice work Gen! From what I heard, you did pretty amazing protecting the entire region practically all by yourself." Sonic seemed to take a long look at Gen, and saw just how nervous she was. He sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "C'mon, I'm not that scary, am I?" Gen shook her head. "I'm just-uh, not really good with people." She excused. And Sonic went right back to smiling. "That's totally understandable. Say, you were moving pretty fast earlier; how about instead of talking, we have a little race? Just for fun, don't worry." Gen thought for a long moment, then nodded with a small smile. Sonic smiled wide right back. "Great! Up and down the coast? C'mon, let's go!" And without another word, the two were off. Right away, Gen noted that...well, she was a little bit slower than Sonic. Not by much, but it was noticeable when the two of them ran at what they considered "casual" paces. When Gen pushed herself to keep up, Sonic looked back, smiled, and just went a little bit faster. In this way the two of them raced; Sonic constantly egging her on to move just a little bit faster, and Genesis pushing herself harder and harder to keep up...until she was just about reaching her maximum speed. Well, without any boosting factors, at least. The two of them raced at these incredible speeds up and down the coast of Northamer a few times over, and though Genesis still lost that race they agreed to do it again next week. And then the week again after that. Soon enough it became a weekly routine of its own; Genesis found her speed increasing by leaps and bounds this way, and Sonic was a comfortable racing partner. Despite her growing speed and skill, Genesis would never once be able to defeat Sonic in a straight-up race without resorting to Hyper or Chaos energy. She would push him several times, but unless she was willing to break out the golden or prismatic power within her, she just never had the capacity to truly surpass Sonic's own speed. That didn't mean she /didn't/ get a few wins in. Sonic knew she relied on those powers quite a bit frequently, and grabbed himself a Chaos Emerald for a race one day-and the two of them competed to see just who was the /absolute/ fastest. On that day, Gen had her first real victory; the prismatic power in her pushed her faster, further, and simply /more/ than a single Chaos Emerald could. The next week, Sonic came back with two Emeralds...and lost again. The week after, Sonic came with three Emeralds...and lost again. The week after, it was four Emeralds...and four losses. Week five, five Emeralds...five losses. Week six, six Emeralds...six losses. And seven weeks after this little escalation competition began, the final nail in the coffin came...when Sonic brought all seven Chaos Emeralds. Sonic went Super Sonic that race, and rushed forward at the speed of light. Genesis opened up stable portals to the Chaos Force, going Super as well...the difference was, she also had Hyper energy. And where Sonic had a set amount of power from the Chaos Emeralds and the Rings he picked up along the way, Genesis could just keep pouring more and more power into herself directly from the source of all Chaos Energy. On that day...Sonic conceded that Genesis was faster than he was, at least when using powers. While it never really mattered to Genesis-she knew that this would be the result the entire time; in terms of pure body speed she could never match up, but Sonic had limited Chaos energy to augment himself with whereas she had functionally infinite-Rouge threw Genesis a little party for her victory against Sonic that week. THAT, made the victory quite worth it. 0-0-0-0-0 It was almost a decade to the day Genesis had crash-landed on Mobius...and Genesis could feel a new world calling out to her. She had already mostly put her affairs in order, settled all her debts, and so on. All that was left...was one final conversation. "Are you sure you want to come with me?" She asked Rouge, absently rubbing the Iblis Ring on her wrist. It'd become something of a nervous habit of hers over the years, and right now she was feeling plenty nervous. Rouge sighed and favored Genesis with an exasperated smile. "Darling, I've been preparing for this for months now. Yes, I'm sure. Maybe I might miss a few friends here and there...but there's no way you'll get rid of me that easily. Just imagine all the sights to see, the adventures to have, the treasures to find..." She trailed off for a moment, then re-focused herself. "Besides, it's not like time will pass here while we're gone, right? I lose nothing by coming along, and potentially gain everything. I don't see a downside." "But still-" Gen was about to continue, until Rouge's lips silenced her. All thoughts in Gen's head popped like a soapbubble. The two kissed for several moments, until Rouge pulled back. "Gen, I love you. I'm not gonna leave you, especially not when you're gonna go gallavanting across the cosmos. We're in this together." At that, Genesis could only nod dumbly as a wide and dopey smile spread across her face. At least until Rouge dopeslapped her. "Now c'mon, help me back up the last of my bags. I'm not leaving any of this behind!" It wasn't until just shortly before they left through the strange prismatic Genesis Portal that appeared on the promised day of Gen's departure that Gen would realize...Rouge had packed a lot of her bags with a LOT of stolen gems. As in, an entire museum's worth stolen literally the night before. Some habits die hard, she supposed. Bright blue light shot into the sky, tearing a hole in the storm above...And from that hole, a lone figure descended in a ray of purple light. A moment later the light reached the ground just before Merlina, and the earth shook as the figure emerged from that ground. She was a strange being-short, bearing both human and animal-like features. Her fur was purple and her hair was long, flowing down her back and covering her eyes at the same time. She was clad in strange clothing-a slim blue jumpsuit-like outfit, with a burnt orange ring attacked to one wrist. She stood from where she had been crouching, and her eyes opened-deep blue, Merlina noted. The figure turned and stared at the army of monsters that surrounded them both. The strange being-the Knight of the Wind that Merlina had summoned, the sorceress realized-turned back to Merlina. "One moment; I shall handle this." The Knight of the Wind declared. Her figure seemed to flicker like a mirage, and a strange purple tint seemed to overcome the world around them. Then there was the sound of thunder, a rumbling all around that tore up a raging wind. Merlina blinked...and the entire army that Arthur had summoned was gone, reduced to dust. The Knight of the Wind herself had turned to Arthur, and was frowning. "That should've killed you." She said with absolute certainty. "Nothing can kill me." The dark king answered back. The Knight's frown deepened. "We shall see." "No, you mustn't!" Merlina shouted, reaching out for the otherworldy knight. The Knight of the Wind looked back, and then seemed to deliberately allow Merlina to grab her. The sorceress raised her staff, conjuring a storm around them...and teleporting them away. When the dust cleared they were far away, in a misty forest. The otherworld knight turned her frown towards the sorceress, and she felt the need to defend her actions. "King Arthur cannot be wounded or slain, for he bears The Scabbard of Excalibur." The otherworld knight nodded at that. "An immortal, then. Tricky..." Merlina's spine tingled; the thought that this knight had defeated other immortals before...The knight shook her head. "I am Genesis the Hedgehog; who might you be, miss?" She asked. "Ah; I am Merlina. Apologies for your abrupt summoning, sir knight." Merlina curtsied as she both introduced herself and apologized. "It's fine; I'm exactly where I need to be." Genesis answered somewhat cryptically. The knight looked around at the forest the two of them had been walking through. "You brought us here for a reason?" She asked. Merlina nodded. "In the heart of this forest, guarded by the Mist Dragon, lies the Sacred Sword Caliburn. It is said that only the power of a Sacred Sword can pierce through the Scabbard's immortality; with this sword, you just might be able to defeat King Arthur." Genesis looked rather pensive at that. "Ah...You called me a knight, but I must admit; I am no swordswoman. I've defeated many foes, but I've never wielded a blade." Merlina smiled. "This is one thing I can assist with! I shall set up some illusory obstacles and targets; we'll make you a swordswoman out of you yet!" 0-0-0-0-0 "If you remove sword and slay King Arthur with it, you shall forever be the worst of knights, slayer of kings." Merlina declared. Genesis paused, her hand still wrapped around the hilt of Caliburn. For a long moment she considered Merlina's words...then answered back. "Perhaps in this world, it is a great dishonor to slay a king...but there is a saying in mine. 'All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good to stand by and do nothing.' I can think of no greater honor than to strike down a tyrant. Call me a kingslayer, the worst of knights. Earned this way, I could think of no higher praise." A golden glow surrounded Genesis for a brief moment, and she pulled forth Caliburn from the stone. Genesis considered the sword. "Caliburn..." "Indeed." The sword answered back Genesis didn't so much as flinch-seeming to have fully expected it. "And you must be my wielder...though by the look of you, you're barely a squire. Not to worry; I shall train you until you're a true knight, worthy of bearing me!" "We may not have much time for that..." Genesis answered back to her sword, staring off into the distance-where King Arthur, riding his shadowy steed, had appeared. A moment later she launched herself into battle with the newcomer. Unlike before when her attacks simply did no damage to him, this time it was clear that Caliburn's edge bit into King Arthur's body...and yet, it was not enough. No matter how many times she cut or ran him through, he simply healed back to full health a moment later. After several minutes of battle, she suddenly stopped and jumped back. "This is pointless." She declared, staring into King Arthur's glowing yellow eyes. "You cannot hurt me, and I cannot kill you." King Arthur growled, and raised Deathcalibur high into the air-and from its tip emerged dozens of glowing energy balls, and an equal number of energy spears. "Watch out!" Caliburn shouted. Genesis stood still, and raised a single hand-palm outwards. All of King Arthur's attacks-the beams of light, the balls of writhing magic-simply...stopped, just in front of her. It was as if they were trapped in an invisible wall of amber, frozen in place-though the rest of the world continued to move just fine. The otherworldly knight's eyes glowed with a faint white light as she stared at this wall of death, palm held out. Then, she spun her hand lightly...and every single attack spun around as well, aimed directly at the tyrant King Arthur who had originally launched them. "Like I said..." Genesis began, "This is pointless." She punctuated her statement by closing her raised hand into a fist...and every single attack from the Tyrant King dissipated, as if crushed out of existence. "What in the world-" Caliburn exclaimed "How..." King Arthur asked at the same time. "All you presumed that I am a knight...but the truth is, I'm much closer to being a sorceress than a knight." Genesis explained. King Arthur stared at her for several moments, then sheathed his sword. "Not even worth slaying." He declared, and then simply rode off into the sky. "Well...I've never had a sorceress for a wielder, but no matter. We'll make a knight of you regardless!" Caliburn declared, floating out of her hand to speak to her directly. "It seems the legend is true; so long as he bears the Scabbard, there is no hope of defeating King Arthur." Merlina spoke, walking up to where Genesis and Caliburn stood. The otherworldly knight looked back at the elfen woman and asked, "Do you know of a way to circumvent its power?" Merlina shook her head. "No, but there is one who might. The Scabbard's former owner Nimue, the Lady of the Lake, may know how to hinder its power." Genesis nodded...then paused. "Before we continue...would you mind if I were to summon my friends and family from the other world?" She asked. "Ah...feel free, Genesis." The hedgehog nodded, and raised both hands. Her eyes glowed first white, then with prismatic power, and her hands began to glow golden-miniscule slits into the Chaos Force opening along the back of her fingers to fill her with power. She grit her teeth...and with a mighty shout, a strange rift in reality tore itself open before her. The silhouettes of four figures could be seen within. The first figure to emerge was lashed by ghostly tendrils of power from the portal's edges, and yet seemed utterly unharmed by the experience. "So that's what you were talking about...Hey darling, miss me?" A husky voice called out. Rouge the Bat emerged from the portal. Trails of white mist radiated from her form, which itself seemed somewhat changed. She had been a beauty before...but now, she seemed even more so. Her skin was fairer, her hair and fur both sleeker and softer, her curves enhanced, and her eyes almost glowing from within. More than her physical beauty, the essence of her power had changed as well. If one had the mystical senses for it, it would be exceedingly clear; her soul had been enhanced as a knight of the realm's would be, practically bursting through her skin. Likewise was the essence of Chaos Energy which now sparked within her frame-certainly not as much as Genesis could summon, perhaps not even as much as a single Chaos Emerald, but a powerful spark nevertheless. Behind her three other figures emerged-though they were spared from the lashing of the portal. One of those figures seemed rather annoyed by that fact, actually. "C'mon, Gen. Don't I at least count as second wife?" A younger and gentle voice called out. A deer mobian in a simple though elegant dress emerged from the portal, looking about curiously. "Hah! Try again in a hundred years, girly. Gen's mine, and I ain't sharing." Rouge called back to her, making Bump the Deer pout. "Out of the way, simpleton! I've a whole new world to conquer-I mean, explore!" A young woman's voice called out. Out of the portal marched a human woman dressed in a black undersuit with a red suit on top, with prominent white straps on the sides and capped with four yellow buttons. Omelette had grown up from a young girl, and taken after Robotnik's own style of dress as she came into her own. Her hair was still a spikey, poofy mess and her eyes were covered by her signature glasses, and a grand-though perhaps somewhat maniacle-grin was stretched across her face. "Don't go overboard, Omelette! We don't know what this new world is like!" Bump tried to temper Omelette's excitement, only for a much more, well, excitable voice to interrupt. "No way Bumpy! This is a whole new world! A whole new set of sights to see, things to find, and dances to dance!" A flying seemingly-human woman emerged from the portal last, a bright grin on her face as she spun in the air." "Quite the...colorful cast, sir knight." Merlina noted. "May you perchance introduce us?" "These are my family; my companions who would cross worlds alongside me." Genesis began, though the others decided to continue introductions. "I'm Dinya the djinn!" Dinya introduced herself, spinning excitedly in the air as she did so. "I'm just here to have a good time!" "I am DOCTOR Ivanna Robotnik, though you may call me Omelette!" Omelette went next, posing somewhat dramatically as she did so. "And I'm Bump the Deer; I'm Gen's second wife!" Bump introduced herself last-getting groans from the rest of Gen's cast. Rouge sauntered up to Genesis and all but draped herself around the hedgehog's shoulders, getting a near atomic blush from her. "That just leaves me I suppose." She said, smiling flirtily at Merlina. "I'm Rouge the Bat; I'm Gen's ACTUAL wife. Or maybe husband; I tend to wear the pants in the relationship, really." "Ah-" Genesis tried to raise her voice to protest, only for Rouge to place a finger on her lips and silence her utterly. "Quite the colorful cast, indeed." Merlina muttered. 0-0-0-0-0 "I must say, your husband makes a far finer knight than you do, squire." Caliburn remarked as the two of them tore through a small squadron of Hell Knights. Some ways away Rouge herself moved with incredible swiftness, wielding a sparkling blade and clad in flexible yet powerful armor. Caliburn's words were true; just by comparing the way Genesis and Rouge fought, it was clear that Rouge was the superior swordswoman. Gen had gotten the basics of slashing and stabbing down, but still relied much more on her immense speed and power to actually turn the blade in her hands into a deadly weapon. Rouge, meanwhile, all but /danced/ her way through enemies-always dodging and slicing at the perfect moment even without relying on mind-boggling speed. "I know." Genesis agreed with Caliburn. She paused for a moment to cut through a particularly giant Hell Knight, then continued. "The truth is, I rather hate battle. I hate war, and violence. I developed my mystical arts so that I wouldn't need to battle...so that I could save lives, rather than end them. Being a knight...does not come easily to me." She admitted, though this did not stop her from slashing through her enemies. "If you make for such a poor knight, then why were you the one who heeded Merlina's summons, rather than one of your companions?" Caliburn asked. Genesis crouched down, focusing her newfound spiritual power into her body and blade. At just the perfect crescendo she struck, again and again-cutting through enemy after enemy in an instant. Afterwards she felt herself only slightly drained, and gave a wan smile; she was getting better at wielding that power. "Merlina called for a knight of the wind...and though I dislike bragging, there is only one who is faster than I. And in the transition of coming to this realm, I have attained speed and power that allow me to surpass even them completely and utterly." She declared. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 3: Classic Sonic Origin: Freedom Fighter Age: 17 Gender: Female Starting Location: Flicky Island Drawbacks >Bad Future +400 ** >The Eaten Time +600 ** Perks >Super Attitude -Free >Super Peel-Out -Free >Super Speed -100 ** >Spin Attack -100 ** >Insta-Shield -200 ** >Blast Processing -200 ** >Fastest Thing Alive -300 ** >Sage of Angel Island -100 ** >Power Enriched By The Heart -600 ** >The Blessing of the Little Planet -300 ** Items >Super Shoes -Free Companions >Rouge -100 ** +600 Companion ** >>Origin: Drop-In >>For The Love Of Money -Free >>What A Weasel -Free >>Bonus Stage -300 ** >>Forbidden Treasure -300 ** Well then, it seems like Eggman pulled some insane bullshit and fractured time so that he wins, but in the process attracted the attention of an eldritch abomination that eats time. And more than that-I've got sonic speed and teleportation to ensure that I can be at EVERY Wave to prevent disaster. The world is ****** and I'm the only thing keeping it together-but that's a dilemma I have become /exceptionally/ skilled at handling. She is compassionate in her own way, and has her own principles as well. Sure she's greedy and a bit careless, but she's also incredibly self-confident and skilled in applying what she has to great effect. And it's interesting to consider just how many of these drawbacks can be easily ignored and dealt with when one is not continuously shackled to the whims of society. If you have enough confidence and a powerful enough fallback, blackmail loses its bite. And what can mobsters do to try and collect debt when the person they're trying to collect debt from can casually move at mach 10 on land? Of course, both are moot points when you can simply change their hearts with a bit of creative theft...and if there's one thing that Rouge loves to do, and I'll happily get roped into, it's a bit of creative theft. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 15: Exalted - Solars Starting Location: Free Pick Origin: Scholar Age: 17 Gender: Female Caste: Eclipse Drawbacks >A New Dawn +100 ** >Yozi-Friend +200 ** >The Virtue of Compassion +200 ** >A Grim Nemesis +200 ** >What's A Combo? +300 ** >Interesting Times +300 ** >The Wyld Hunt Resurgent +400 ** Perks >Sword of the Sun -600 ** >Pages and Words -Free >Logic -100 ** >Mind of the Sun -300 ** >Binding Oaths -200 ** >Power and Magesty Maximized -400 ** >The Three Circles of Sorcery -300 ** >Unconquered -400 ** Companions >Rouge -100 ** +600 Companion ** >>Origin: Merchant >>Caste: Night >>Just A Humble Merchant -Free >>Prosperity of the Sun -300 ** >>Seven-Fingered Jumper -200 Companion ** >>Power and Majesty Maximized -400 Companion ** I'm basically wandering around Creation without a clue what's happening, trying to protect it from constant disasters, fighting off the Wyld Hunt who seems to hate me for no reason, and demons are appearing everywhere. This might be the first jump when I haven't had a definitive and absolute speed-advantage at all times...well, compared to speedsters like the Flash, at least. So, I just sorta embraced it. I decided to be a broke scientist with a Pursuer Rouge-type Waifu, and we're going to fight against viral apocalypses, Wesker, insane pharma corps, and our constant lack of cash! Really, having no money is starting to become a chain theme for me... Anyways, Rouge and I are going to do some last-minute tweaking to the virus/parasite hybrid I cooked up in the virus creator just to make sure it all works (next post, because virus customizer is very big), then gunning it to the nearest hive of viruses and villainy to begin wrecking things and shooting at the Wescrows. Sure, maybe this would be dangerous and serious as a first jump...but after nearly thirty jumps, this is just a time to kick back, have fun, and do some genuine good by derailing the plot like an out of control train. Stop all the tragedy before it truly kicks off, and have a little silly fun along the way. This virus requires a specific meditative trance to activate, meaning it can only ever initialize its mutations on those utterly willing. Further, it will sculpt its users into a soft, bountiful ideal of feminine beauty while both instilling a genetic tendency for kind and motherly attitudes, and a compulsion to seek cooperation before violence. Basically, it turns infectees into superpowered sexy milfs/onee-sans. Psychic milfs/onee-sans, at that. Yeah, I cheesed the virus creator as hard as I physically could. I have no regrets. We have a clear baddy, who really needs to die. We have a clear series of events that, if prevented, would ensure the peace and stability of the setting's multiverse. We have a clear idea of what we need to do, and how we need to go about doing it. There's just one teensy, tiny, itty bitty problem. After hearing and seeing a representation of Kingdom Hearts, Rouge got it into her head that Kingdom Hearts=The Biggest Gem ******* Ever. This, quite naturally, led to Shenanigans. Not only is this multiverse fighting my very existence via the Unversed and the Critical Mode enhancement to everyone I fight, but Rouge decided to basically go rogue and try to figure out how to STEAL KINGDOM HEARTS, just because she thought it was shiny. With Rouge ******* around through spacetime with her newly acquired Keyblade and her older powers, I could never quite get a lock down on Xehanort and kill him before he pulled off all the shit in Birth By Sleep. He couldn't get to me either, because ultimately Rouge both didn't want to hurt me and didn't really have the /power/ to hurt me, and she was really the only reason I hadn't steamrolled this reality with the powers of a Lord of Chaos. Things would culminate into an argument turned battle for the continued existence of Kingdom Hearts via Xehanort's machinations, where he was shattered into wisps of Darkness, Rouge was transformed into a Heartless, and I became a Nobody. And that...leads into the main Kingdom Hearts jump. Rouge and I had both been getting fairly complacent about that recently-it didn't seem to matter what we were up against, we could always just steamroll it with the various powers we previously attained and cultivated within ourselves. The consequences of that were patently obvious; my Heart was ripped out and I was left empty within, and Rouge's Heart was corrupted and left her delirious and Heartless. This would be a powerful lesson going forward...at least, after I figured out how to put us back together. Rouge and friends are kinda useless as fighters in this state, but I still keep my wits about me-even though everything is much more difficult and much more powerful than expected. It's hard to muster up motivation when I can't feel any emotion, but the memories of what I had before is enough to keep me going-and as I keep going, it's easy enough to fight off All The ******* Xehanorts, save the worlds from the rising tides of Heartless, and deal with all the ******* Nobodies. Speaking of, if there's one good thing that came out of all this it's that Rouge and I can now summon up armies of Nobodies and Heartless to our command-specifically, Rouge seems to have gained the power to summon up Rouge Heartless patterned off of her own Heartless form, and I can summon what I'm tentatively calling "Dark Snipers" who have a fair resemblance to my original Mobian form except also wield a crossbow formed from Darkness. Rouge's are, admittedly, far cooler. They turn into giant Rouges with laser cannon boobs. Literally, building-sized Rouge Heartless with massive laser boobs. When Rouge finally regained her senses after this jump, she couldn't help but flaunt her new titanic form. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 39: The God of High School Starting Location: Free Choice Race: Demon -200 ** Power: Divine +400 D ** Origin: High School Student Drawbacks >Clone Troubles +200 ** >Become God +200 ** >Slave of the Heavens +300 ** >Rage from the Heavens +300 ** >Kill 12 Billion Demons +300 ** >Greed Is A Deadly Sin +300 ** >Curse of the Japanese +300 ** >Special Human +1000 ** Perks >Getting You Started -Free >Reincarnation Enhanced -2000 ** +2 Free 600 ** Divine Powers, +2 Custom 800 ** Unique Powers, +4 Unique Items >Worldly Monster -Free >Heavenly Flight -Free >Holy Lineage -100 ** >Young Lord -300 ** >A Good Seed -Free >Sworn Brothers -Free >Self-Made Man -100 ** >Martial Memory Adaptation -300 ** Divine Powers >Regeneration -400 D ** >Domination -Free (Reincarnation) >Spare Lives -Free (Reincarnation) >Custom 800 ** Equivalent Power >Custom 800 ** Equivalent Power Items >Friendly Smokes -50 ** >Godcycle -Free >Barbadium Body -500 ** >Faux Weaponry -Free >Weighted Clothing -100 ** >Passing Down The Teachings -200 ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>Race: Demon -100 Companion ** >>Power: Divine Power +400 DC ** >>Origin: Judge >>Getting You Started -Free >>Worldly Monster -Free >>My, What Big Horns You Have -100 Companion ** >>True Form -300 Companion ** >>Heavenly Flight -Free >>The Big T -Free >>Contest Judging -Free >>Energy Absorption -200 DC ** >>Divine Form -200 DC ** >>Removable Horns -Free >>Suits on Suits -Free In which I must face constant suffering and battle, against opponents who are still insanely tough to hurt even when I start tapping into absolutely universe-shaking abilities. It would've been /nice/, sure, but tactically and lewdly, Constitution just made more sense. I also thought about having Rouge be a mother goddess and have Godking, so she could do this whole thing of usurping the gods to gain their power...but eventually settled on what I have right now. Tactically, it honestly would have made more sense to let Rouge become a God King...but sometimes, tactics don't really factor in. As for why I haven't talked much about this jump's actual events, that's rather simple. It was a long journey full of excessive lewdity, gorey demon battles, and contemplation on enlightenment. Not the sort of thing I'm good at writing, or even belongs on a blue board. I will remember Nirvana Yuga fondly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 41: Bleach (Valeria Edition) Starting Location: Karakura Town Role Origin: Hero/Science/Rogue Race Origin: Artificial Spirit (Apparent) Age: 17 Gender: Female Drawbacks >Dilemmas & Dangers +0 ** >Distractions & Daydreams +0 ** >Bubble Brains +100 ** >Blind Justice +100 ** >Friends, Family, and Fiends +100 ** >Tasty Bait +100 ** >Black & White +200 >Wanted: Dead +200 ** >Kurosaki Ichigone +200 ** >Gloves Off +300 ** >Railroad Tracks +300 ** >Unfortunate Linchpin +300 ** Perks >Spiritual Awareness -Free >Active Hybrid -200 ** >Bleach Body Ready -50 ** >Clear Headed Crazy -Free >Academic Foundation -Free >Minimum Motivation >Flowering Fairies -100 ** >A Love That Crushes -200 ** >The Final Getsuga -300 ** >Soul Separation -100 ** >Hollow Sorcery -200 ** >Segunda Etapa -300 ** >Soul Letter -300 ** >Mod Soul -Free >Soul Princess -400 ** Items (+300 Item **) >Hogyoku -300 Item ** -500 ** >Plush Body -Free >Gigai & Gikon -Free Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>Role Origin: Combat/Science/Rogue >>Race Origin: Human >>Spiritual Awareness -Free >>Cat Spirit -50 ** >>Bleach Body Ready -50 ** >>Officer in the Making -Free >>Insane Clown Scientist -Free >>Afterlife Ninja -Free >>Shunko -200 Companion ** -100 ** >>I Know A Lady -Free >>Clear Headed Ditz -Free >>Shun Shun Rikka -400 Companion ** >>Super Spirit Stick -Free So, first of all, Rouge the Cat. I had to. Second, we've got the usual "everything is exploding and it's probably my fault" thing going on; everyone wants to kill me, there's enemies constantly growing and scaling every which way, my Inner Hollow is constantly trying to eat my soul from within, and I don't have a convenient belligrent strawberry to throw at problems. Upsides, I'm a hybrid of ******* everything, have my own Hogyoku, and Rouge can just Reject reality as she pleases. I'm going to have to fight to make the very best of these new powers of mine and push my old powers pretty far as well, or face destruction from without and within. But that's how I like these adventures, if I'm honest. And I made sure that I could push my powers in incredible and strange ways, at that-with "Flowering Fairies" and "Final Getsuga", I can make EVERY power I have into a Final Getsuga power! And with "Soul Separation" I can undo it, and even make my powers into independent beings/minions! And that's not even mentioning Segunda Etapa. One of these days I'll get around to designing the various custom powers that come with all these things-from the God of Highschool divine powers and items, my Zanpakuto, Schrift, Fullbring, and Hollow Powers, and probably other stuff I'm not remembering right now. But that day, is not today. Overall, while I'm going to be constantly fighting for my life, I've got the sheer regenerative ability, sheer growth ability, and the sheer reserves to pull out a win from this. In an inversion of the usual formula, Rouge isn't a minion maker this time-instead she's going back to her roots as a spy via the Shunko stuff and extremely creative usage of the Shun Shun Rikka. The capacity to Reject reality in various ways will definitely make an incredibly potent tool in her arsenal-especially if she can be a bit flexible with it. A barrier that can Reject wounds can probably Reject a section of wall or glass, for instance, and a flying shield makes for a perfectly silent and clean movement platform. And with Shunko, she can move faster and more cleanly than ever. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 42: Legend of Zelda - Spirit Tracks Origin: Royalty Age: 11 Gender: Female Starting Location: New Hyrule Drawbacks >Choo Choo Motherfucker +100 ** >I'm Sorry, Were You In A Hurry? +200 ** >I'm Told It's Something Of A Tradition +200 ** Perks >So Nice It Hurts -Free >Family Tradition -Free >You Seem Cuter Than Usual -100 ** >Its Name Is New Hyrule -200 ** Items >Message In A Bottle -Free >Heirloom Robes -Free Trains >NHC Royal -Free >NHB Cannon -Free >NHR Linebeck -50 ** >LC Spirited -100 ** >LB Sea Train -100 ** >LR Royal -200 ** >DRB Bomber -100 ** >DRB Light -100 ** >GSR Red Lion (Moloch Liner ImporteD) -200 ** Gear +200 Gear ** >Bow -200 Gear ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** +100 GC ** >>Origin: Demon >>You Seem Cuter Than Usual -200 Companion ** >>Evil Vizier Routine -Free >>Rats For Days -Free >>Summoned From The Dark Realm -100 Companion ** >>Take The Light For Yourself -300 Companion ** >>Recruit Sword (Legendary Sword Imported) -100 GC ** >>Light Weapon (Recruit Sword) -300 ** If nothing else, there is ONE good thing about this game... But this is an otherwise rather peaceful jump (except for when I take any damage whatsoever), and will make a nice litttle vacation spot once I clean up the demons and such. Except for Rouge, who decided to play demon and demon summoner for kicks once again. And wield the Lokomo Sword, because she also found that pretty hilarious. That's a nice and impressive way of putting it; a little odd that I ended up a Kai here, but that just gets me access to God Ki so I'm rolling with it. Rouge, in a strange twist, ended up as a Majin-a bit of a "heaven and hell" theme going on there. For the most part, the events of this jump are rather simple: wake up, save Kami's house, do missions for the Time Patrol, fight literally everyone, get back to Toki-Toki, train, relax, cuddle/make love with Rouge, sleep, repeat. It's a simple routine, but even with all the incredible power being thrown around in this universe...ultimately, this is a simple setting. Though I've been barred from the kitchen by Rouge, which is annoying. My cooking's fine! In fact, with all the crafting perks I have, my cooking's probably outright divine! ...But aside from that, it's a comfy life. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 44: Ranma 1/2 Age: 15 Gender: Female Origin: Amazon Warrior -100 ** Jusenkyo Curse: Drawback Override (Succubus) Drawbacks >Mind-Altering Curse +600 ** Perks >Amazon Durability -Free >Martial Acrobatics -100 ** >Hidden Weapon Space -100 ** >Supreme Amazon Ki Technique (Hiryu Shoten Ha) -300 ** >Ki Projection -600 ** Items >Flask of Water of Life -100 ** Companion >Rouge -Free >>Origin: Bystander >>Jusenkyo Curse: Boy/Girl >>Homemaking Skills -Free >>Gambling Acumen -50 ** >>Safe Place To Stand -100 ** >>The Kasumi Effect -150 ** Ranma 1/2 is a comedic yet surprisingly rich setting which, if you look into it, has an incredible potential to weave both simple and grand stories alike. It's too bad that I spent a great deal of my time here in a complete blur, though Rouge assures me that it was for a worthy cause. You know, in a previous chain, I did this whole sorta fanfic plot where my jumper studied the fundamental nature of Ki, learned to hack it to achieve incredible things more fitting to Exalted than Ranma 1/2, wrote down all their findings in a book, then just straight-up mailed the book to Ranma after enchanting it so that only Ranma could read it. There was also a challenge letter in the book that said Ranma could only fight me once they had mastered everything in the book. Ranma took that seriously, started learning to wield Ki in incredible and strange ways, fixed his life, and around 8 years later finally challenged my jumper to a battle that shattered space and time but which Ranma ultimately lost. They were okay with that though, and by harnessing advanced ki techniques literally started their own Jumpchain with the intent of challenging my jumper again later on, once they were stronger and mastered more martial arts. ...Just wanted to share that little story, since nothing of particular note (that I can remember) happened this time around. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 45: Okami Starting Location: Dragon Palace Age: N/A Gender: Female Origin: Brush God (Fox) -200 ** Drawbacks >Pervy +100 ** >Magnetic +200 ** >MacGuffin Container +300 ** Perks >Calligraphy -50 ** >Prayer Slips -200 ** >Dextrous Oral Telekinetic Acrobatics -Free >Picture Perfect -200 ** >Brush Up -300 ** >Brush Technique -200 ** >Natural Nature -300 ** Items >Magic Ink Pot x2 -50 ** Companion >Rouge -100 ** +300 Companion ** >>Origin: Priestess >>Priestly Wisdom -Free >>Brush Up -300 Companion ** >>100 Prayer Slips -Free So I've got an incredibly painful evil artifact stuck in my gut and loads of demons on my tail. And we got a new dynamic going on here once again-I'm the Brush God, and Rouge is my priestess! It's basically just cosplay at this point, but cosplay can be fun in its own right. Once we can get Amaterasu to remove the evil macguffin from my gut, I'm basically just gonna **** off and have an island vacation with Rouge-maybe bless Amaterasu with some extra powers to make everything easy for her, but I know nothing about the story, have no attachment to it, and figure that Ammy can fix everything anyways so there's no real need for me to barge in and try to do with brute force what Ammy is already doing on her own. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 46: Hyperdimension Neptunia Gender: Female Race: CPU/Candidate -200 ** Age: 15 Faction: Leanbox Starting Location: The Arena Drawbacks >Burdens of a CPU +0 ** >Looking For Wifeys +100 ** >Mekara Beam? +100 ** >JUSTICE KICK!!! +100 ** >For A Kinda Lousy Nation, It's Best To Have A Kinda Lousy CPU Like Jumper +200 ** >Endless Dimension Shifting +200 ** >Because Everyone Believes In Me +200 ** Perks >Blessed Are The Faithful -Free >Idol of Innovation -100 ** >Hard Drive Divinity -Free >Fanservice -Free >Adopting Little Sisters -100 ** >4 Goddesses Online 2 -200 ** >Leanbox Biggatons -300 ** >Deity of Sin -600 ** >Gamer Gal -Free >Useless Ability Popups -50 ** Items >CPU Memory -200 ** >Oversized Gaming -Free Companion >Rouge -50 ** +800 Companion ** >>Race: CPU/Candidate >>Origin: Arfoire >>Blessed Are The Faithful -Free >>Hard Drive Divinity -Free >>Fanservice -100 Companion ** >>Introductory Graphic Text -Free >>Harmlessly Evil -100 Companion ** >>Yes We Are Definitely Allies. And we both also happen to have "Constitution That Accepts Every Desire", which lets us create a full-power clone of ourselves for every single person with desires that we can sense. It doesn't matter that we can't really accumulate Sharicite...because, thanks to the both of us having "Deity of Sin", we don't need it. We just need to inspire lust, decadence, and depravity. And we both happen to have such overwhelming beauty that doing so is a snap. Also I happen to be a Nepgear who keeps getting thrown into other dimensions. That's a thing that's occurring. It's got a couple of companions you can take, but not one to actually insert any of your companions into the jump itself. Honestly, it's got a bit of that "old jump syndrome" going on. So I've got ten years to wrangle control of Aperture back from CaveDOS, turn the company around, and get it profitable enough to buy out Black Mesa. Not an easy thing. Luckily I'm utterly ******* absurd and immune to neurotoxin, so I /should/ be safe if I just run at close to lightspeeds disconnecting Cave Johnson from the facility, eliminate every single bird in the facility, and get back to taking things over. Being able to move at Sonic speeds makes a whole lot of things easy. And that's something I could do since practically jump 1. Cave taken care of, next on the docket is inventing all sorts of random bullshit, figuring out how to market it, and turning a profit off of these inventions. I am, of course, going to have a helluva lot more morals and ethics than Aperture ever did as I work to create these inventions, but I've got my own out-of-pocket resources to fund truly insane levels of research and a whole bunch of soulless clones to do tests with! But of course, a wrench in the plans: Rouge has been crystallized! I'm going to have to save her myself! Even with my powers kinda ****** up because of the drawback though...I've still got incredible amounts of experience and just, straight up raw power to call upon. The weather isn't going to particularly bother me no matter how hot or cold it gets, I can bypass things with sheer strength, speed, or magical bullshit as necessary, and there is absolutely NOTHING that's going to stop me from getting Rouge back. One thing I know for sure; Rouge and I will find a way. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 54: A Will Eternal Age: 15 Gender: Female Origin: Outsider Starting Location: Heavenspan Continent Drawbacks >Cultivation Standard Time +0 ** >Cultivation Maniac +100 ** >"Dependable" Personality +200 ** >Dark Concotor +200 ** >Pacifist +200 ** >Enemy of the World +300 ** >Dark Past +300 ** Perks >Cultivation -Free >Cute As A Button -100 ** >Gift of Gab -Free >Dao of Cultivation (Creation) -100 ** >Internal Affairs -200 ** >Progenitor of Cultivation -300 ** >Spirit Enhancing -200 ** >Dao of Medicine -200 ** Items >Basic Cultivation Scroll -Free >Bag of Holding -Free >Gongs and Drums -50 ** >Spirit Farm -Free >Earth Dao Foundation Enhanced -300 ** >Heavenspan Stream -200 ** >Complete Undying Live Forever Codex -600 ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>Origin: Heavenspan Cultivator >>Cultivation -Free >>Frugal -Free >>Tomb Raider -150 Companion ** >>Formation Golem -Free >>Pill Furnaces -150 Companion ** >>Turtle Wok -300 Companion ** This jump is going to be an extremely silly one, even with Daoist Heavenspan after my life. Why? Because about 99.8% of it is going to be spent with me sitting inside what amounts to a giant glowing hamster ball of layered defensive powers, quietly cultivating away while Rouge rolls me around and does the ACTUAL work of saving everyone and dealing with Heavenspan. She's damn powerful in her own right-not to mention an Omega Autarch from Desolate Era, even if she doesn't have her own Chaosverse-so it's entirely within her ability to do that...just as it's within her right to put my Safety Ball™ on chains of Essence and use me as a giant luminescent flail. It's not like I'm going to notice, after all. And hey-it's not like Rouge /can't/ get me to come out when she really wants to. I really like the crafting that comes along with being a Huragok, and Rouge can really make use of the shapeshifting, eternally-growing power of a superadvanced Lekgolo. Not just for direct combat either-infiltration, scouting, and theft are all incredibly benefitted from such a flexible form. To be frank, Rouge and I are going to be spending the next ten years to essentially undermine and fight against the Covenant-a couple of traitors with impossible powers and impossible luck against a galactic force, all for the sake of humanity. Gaining humanity's trust is going to be incredibly difficult, but if I take out enough Covenant ships and forces it should be possible. And from there, I can warn humanity of what they're going to be going up against soon and get them prepared to handle the Flood and other such threats-and hopefully do enough damage to the Covenant in enough places that they can't awaken the Flood in the first place. Total honesty? I just don't like the Covenant. They're inefficient, cruel, and just plain dumb. I'm not going to outright destroy them here. Naturally, I grant an immense amount of power to the person I wear-which is Rouge-which will help spread legends that Rouge's hat grants incredible powers, which might make for some Interesting Times. Like, at all. But as always, I'll deal with it in a simple manner: continuing on and just having Rouge come into the jump anyways, even if she doesn't get an exact build for it. I start this out at the very beginnings of what will one day be the Shinkoku Trastrium, when Mantra was still incredibly young on this world. I arrive with a true and incredible mastery of Mantra-specifically, Lust Mantra. Via helping the human population grow, constantly inspiring lust, and immense training, I'll have my own Mantra grow stronger and stronger over the years-especially as I form new Mantra Forms to not just increase my own beauty, but increase the amount of Mantra I can harness. I will have to fight Asura several times over the jump as he gets angry at me for influencing culture to make his daughter dress up in sexy clothing, but even if his rage and Mantra are powerful...I've got a whole lot going for me aside from Mantra, so I'm not particularly worried. And as the Shinkoku Trastrium grows, I will eventually challenge and defeat Chakravartin. Then, I will force him to swear an immense and comprehensive number of Surrender Oaths akin to the Primordials of Exalted, allowing Mantra to continue to exist while he is locked away forever. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 58: Exalted - The Infernals Caste Yozi: SWLiHN Favored Yozi: Elloge Origin: Savant Age: 17 Gender: Female Starting Location: Creation, City of the Steel Lotus Drawbacks >What First Two Chapters? +0 ** >Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain +100 ** >Horrible Coadjutor +100 ** >Omen Weather +100 ** >Blade of Hatred +200 ** >Past Lives Matter +200 ** >A Hellish Rival +200 ** >Demon Hunters +200 ** >Love of Adorjan +200 ** >Heretic +300 ** >Guard Duty +300 ** Perks >Savant's Understanding -Free >Architectural Madness -100 ** >Vitriolic Craftsman -200 ** >Crystal Clarity -100 ** >Principle of Hierarchy -200 ** >Perfected Calligraphy -100 ** >Writ of Worlds -200 ** >Beautiful and Terrible Maximized -400 ** >Sorcerous Initiation of the Yozi Maximized -400 ** >The Inner World -400 ** >Descending Hierarchy -300 ** >Heart and Soul -200 ** Items (+300 Item **) >Staff of Forbidden Light -150 Item ** >Chalcanth -50 Item ** >Purest Vitriol -50 Item ** >Exotic Components -50 Item ** >Scriptorium of Fantasy Penned -200 ** Companion >Rouge (Coven) -100 ** +800 Companion ** >>Caste Yozi: Adorjan >>Favored Yozi: Hegra >>Origin: Warrior >>Warrior's Mettle -Free >>Demonic Bartender -100 Companion ** >>Beautiful and Terrible Maximized -400 Companion ** >>Descending Hierarchy -300 Companion ** Scenarios >One Night In Gethamane: Third Option There is an absolute fuckload of bullshit going on all at once here, and if it wasn't for the fact that I can clone myself at full power a near-infinite number of times over via Constitution That Accepts Every Desire and all the other jumps I had so far, I wouldn't be willing to take on such an insane burden of drawbacks. Fighting cosmic forces like this is always extremely difficult, especially because of how hard they tend to be to attack directly. Believe it or not, I don't actually have any specific perks for directly attacking cosmic forces...but I do have a lot of purification perks. And science perks. And inspirational perks. And singing perks. And I just attained a perk for being able to create magitech via pure willpower-and I'm not kidding; the "Visions of the Future" perk lets you substitute mechanical knowledge with pure willpower, then turn back whatever continuous spell you've created into functioning technology. And I also have basically infinite willpower. It's not quite Green Lantern bullshit, but being able to just straight-up will whatever technology I want into existence is pretty awesome. Combined with Rouge's influence and manipulation of the world's gravitational field, I will create a spellsong that spreads purification, hope and joy throughout the universe-eradicating both the Light and the Dark all at once. The Abyss will try to kill me. North Korea will try to kill me. Most countries will probably try to kill me. Gaia will try to kill me. I've lost all ***** to give about The Gamer, and Suddenly Tree just amuses me. I just don't really know the plot, or the WoG that I remember being thrown around like "angels are galaxy busters" and all that. But, you know something? This is my narrative, and I can shape it how I want. I don't have to just roll with the idiotic WoG or pointless escalations-or, I could adjust those things to fit my own narrative better. We already have the power to fight and destroy both Zant and Ganondorf, even with me being as weakened as I am, and as soon as Ganondorf is dealt with Rouge and I will negotiate a peace treaty between the Twilight Realm and Hyrule...ensuring that the Twilight Mirror remains unbroken. And incidentally taking Midna with us. Now, I will admit somthing here friends. As much as I love Rouge, I have a powerful weakness for Midna as well. With that, we have a chance of it. It won't be an easy chance of course, but it's a /possible/ one at the very least. If I can survive my time here, the benefits are utterly, mind-bogglingly staggering though. The same for Rouge as well. I'm probably just going to spend the entire jump running around all over the place with Rouge, sending Chase on a wild goose chase just because the thought amuses me. I might study the Shen Gong Wu to try and figure out how they were made, but I've long since gained the capacity to create far more powerful artifacts so it's not actually a major goal for me. All told, this jump is basically "sightseeing time". I have absolutely no idea what sort of powers that might grant me...but I do know one thing. The plot is going to absolutely ******* die. The Homeworld Gems are going to be smacked to another universe. Steven Universe is going to be smacked like a small child. And Rouge is going to steal a whole lot of ******* gems. Of course, there's an upside to this: new forms of magic, and the forging of souls into new forms. But even with that, if it wasn't for Rouge being by my side through all this I would certainly regret having come to this jump in the first place. That's really going to set the tone for the next ten or so years: refuge in audacity. I will obey the rules extremely well, right up until the point that it stops me from helping people-like say, fighting the Azkaban prisoner after my life or dealing with Voldemort's bullshit. Then all that goes flying out the window. And Rouge will be there to help me diplomacy my way out of getting thrown out of Hogwarts or the magical world in general, so that I can get back to tinkering with magic, potions, and enchantments all over again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 73: Soul Eater Starting Location: Loew Village (Czech Republic) Age: 15 Gender: Female Origin: Student Meister Drawbacks >Think of the Children +100 ** >I Am God +100 ** >Witching Hour +200 ** >March of the Clowns +300 ** >Killer Blood Lust +300 ** Perks >The Face -Free >Free Agent -Free >Madness Wavelength (Decadence) -200 ** >Weapon Partner Proficiency -Free >Wavelength Communication -Free >Rebel Yale -Free >Soul Perception Enhanced -200 ** >I Will Surpass God -300 ** >Bushin/War God -400 ** >Half-Weapon -600 ** Weapon Customization >Mundane Weapon Form (Hammer) -Free >Energy Amplification -Free >It's A Texture Thing -Free >Adjustments -Free Companion >Rouge (Demon Weapon Partner) -Free +600 Companion ** >>The Face -Free >>Free Agent -Free >>Backseat Driver -Free >>Energy Amplification -Free >>It's A Texture thing -Free >>Partial Weapon Manifestation -Free >>Alternative Ammo -Free >>Enhanced "Mundane" Weapon Form (Clockwork Bow) -Free >>Special Ability (Minor Telekinesis) -100 Companion ** >>Pulling Potential -200 Companion ** >>Death Dealer -300 Companion ** Ten years of holding back maddening bloodlust, maddening waves of Clowns, maddening hallucinations at 3 AM, and...maddneing bullshit in general, really. But I have my partner and waifu Rouge to help me through these trials, and all the willpower and experience I've built up across the chain, so it's not that bad. We're going to start out rather weak in this world's power system, but we both have the experience and perks needed to swiftly grow our Souls and Soul Resonance to incredible levels. Soon enough, we'll both become Death Scythes via consuming the Gorgon Sister's souls-and in doing so, prevent a great deal of tragedy. As for why Rouge is a clockwork bow for her weapon form? Because clockwork is awesome, and bows are cool. In real life I'm a very easy to please person, so realizing I'm in a dream would be rather difficult...but I am also a frequent lucid dreamer, so I would likely soon notice that something was off about reality. And the fact that Rouge exists and acts odd would help as well. Fighting my way out of that dying dream, I next face TATARI-which, to be honest, is infinitely easier to deal with. With my powers back and Rouge by my side, I can handle quite literally anything this universe throws at me. I will have to remember what promise it was that I forgot-because I always keep my promises-and I will act as Rouge's meido for this jump... But in return, I get a whole lot of really awesome stuff. Like being the Magic Gunner! And also all the Moon Cell bullshit; I was tempted to get the alchemical stuff, but ultimately went with Mind of God purely because I like the aesthetic of programming and creating virtual worlds that affect reality more. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 75: Geneforge Age: 22 Gender: Female Origin: Shaper -100 ** Starting Location: Perikalia Drawbacks >Everyone Knows +200 ** >Abomination +500 ** Perks >Focus (Shaping Focus) -Free >Quick Study -Free >Mechanics -100 ** >Enhanced Essence Reserves x3 -300 ** >Crafting -300 ** >Innate Genetic Understanding -300 ** >ReShaping -600 ** Items >Robes of Ambiguous Gender -Free Again, always annoying when a jump just straight-up doesn't have a companion import option. I frankly have no idea what sort of monster I'm facing when I face the Abomination, but it's almost certainly something I'm capable of handling. And, since everyone knows what my leanings are anyways, I'm just going to straight-up go rogue from the Shaper faction almost the moment the jump starts. I like shaping life, and I understand their rules, but lemme be frank: with the Life Equation, the Dao of Life from A Will Eternal, my Omega Dao of Evolution from Desolate Era, and a whole bunch of other bullshit, I am so far beyond the Shapers when it comes to shaping life that calling them infants compared to me is orders upon orders of magnitude understating things. I can do things with life and biology that they can't even dream of. That said, even with my power constantly draining and cut in half while everyone in the world is chasing me, I feel absolutely no fear. I've cultivated to the peak of power in multiple xianxia at this point, jump much more dangerous settings, and of course: I have Rouge with me. When all else fails, I can rely on her to be my better half and handle the things that I cannot. My cultivation method is a simple but profound one: it is focused on creation and helping others as a means of developing oneself. A peaceful cultivation style that nevertheless refines and improves one's body, mind, and energies to incredible levels at an incredible pace. A gentle halo surrounds the user as they use their power, which changes and evolves as they create wonders and help others. Rouge's cultivation style is the opposite: it's a cultivation method meant for battle. Not war; this is a style that refines itself through training and harsh effort, but does not necessarily reward actually killing others. It forges a sword based on one's personality, which grows in power as the user does and adjusts to their own experiences and power. Cultivation for becoming a sword immortal, not a demon. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 77: Fate - Extra Age: 17 Gender: Female Origin: Hacker Drawbacks >Everyone Knows +200 ** Perks >Servant (Rouge) -Free +1000 SP >Command Seals -Free >Stronger Servant -600 ** +600 SP >Self-Affirmation -Free >Appearance Customization -100 ** >Barrier Code -200 ** >Digitized Sorcery -300 ** Items >Datapad -Free >Brown School Uniform -Free >Classroom -Free Rouge Servant Class: Saber Rouge Servant Templates >Living -200 SP >Summer >Bride >Red Rouge Servant Statistics >Strength: A -100 SP >Agility: A -100 SP >Toughness: A -200 SP >Magical Power: A -200 SP >Combat Skill: EX -450 SP >Magical Skill: E -Free >Luck: A -200 SP Rouge Servant Skills >Magic Resistance: A -100 SP >Riding: E -Free Rouge Noble Phantasm >TBD: B -50 SP So, here's the thing. This is...kind of a barren jump. So the vast majority of my points just went straight to making Rouge an absolutely broken Servant...though that brought me to an entirely different issue: I have absolutely no idea what sort of Noble Phantasm I want to give her. Most of the powers she's gained across the chain are either vastly greater than a B-rank, or barely worth mentioning-below C rank, in essence. And just stealing a Noble Phantasm from another servant seems kinda...eh. And yes, everyone knows where I am, who I am, who my Servant is, all that jazz. It's not gonna make a lick of difference. The gulf between Rouge and I and all other competitors is just that incredible. I HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY FOR THIS! Or, at the very least, I can INVENT it! Most of the time I like to take magic options, but this jump I just kinda couldn't. I wanted to be a Human, and being a human kinda softlocks you out of magic. So I left the magic to Rouge, who is going to be Extra Fluffy and Cuddly this jump-as well as being incredibly glamorous. And for the most part, I'm just going to gently nudge Frisk to getting the True Pacifist ending-because everything genuinely works out that way, and I can just relax and cuddle my fluffy waifu for the rest of the jump. And the masquerade got blasted wide open, but that can be smoothed over as well with a bit of singing and helping people out. Otherwise, this is just an incredibly relaxing and comfy jump...disregarding the weekly meetings with people I left behind in previous jumps. Which is honestly rather few ever since I went to 40k - Primarchs; I've been mostly picking up everyone and taking them with me on my personal planet/system, which got upgraded into a whole Chaosverse in Desolate Era. Still, weekly awkward meetings is a small price to pay for an incredibly fun and relaxing jump like this one. Don't touch the tail. Rouge is, of course, my first officer on this ship, but otherwise I've got quite the colorful cast of characters-including one woman whose soul caught on fire. That will make for an interesting medical conundrum, though with me on hand it's nothing that's not easily curable. Rouge and I shall zail the Zees, exploring everything there is to explore, gathering resources and teaching the Fingerkings not just to exist but to exist in harmony and cooperation with everything else, and continually clashing with my nemesis for the sake of finding all the research I can! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 81: A Certain Scientific Railgun Age: 12 Gender: Female Origin: Experiment -100 ** Esper Ability: Clairvoyance -100 ** Drawbacks >Permanent Loli +300 ** >Keikaku Keystone +300 ** Perks >Formal Training -Free >Doubled Growth Rate -150 ** >Premonition Precog -600 ** >Malleable Reality -300 ** Companion >Rouge -100 ** >>Origin: Experiment >>Esper Ability: Telekinesis -100 ** >>Doubled Growth Rate -150 ** At the very least, this jump has companion import options so I'm happy. I'm probably going to be fighting Crowly's utter bullshit and the endlessly escalating bullshit of the greater Raildex series the entire time I'm here, but even with all the conceptual bullshit I can still handle this pretty well. Though, I will be careful around Touma; I honestly don't remember if I picked up any "power negation immunity" perks or the like throughout my chain, so even if I'm stupidly powerful I'm going to be careful around the kid whose entire gimmick is "negate powerlevels, punch person". ...Well, as careful as I can with the mind of a loli whose addicted to candy. And maybe do SOMETHING to improve this absolute shithole of a planet. I'm sure it doesn't count as "destroying the population" if I happen to eat all the humans in Canada to destroy the mutant death camps, and trapping various """heroes""" in eternal stasis doesn't count as killing them, right?? Also, Thanos is specifically NOT on the menu. There is nothing that would ever convince me to eat that fucker. He's going to be tossed directly into the Omega Sanction. Along with Reed Richards. And several different telepaths. Even 82 jumps in, I still don't feel as if I'm ready to truly purge and remake Marvel as a setting. At least, not entirely. Not yet. Doing my best to keep Earth-616 from blowing up on a daily basis and eventually dragging Spidey out of this utter hellhole is about the best I can do. Still, the usual plan seems to apply: fight Demon Lord and church, go through dungeon to level grind and forcibly level up my bad class until I can actually use a wide vareity of classes from my Jobless perk, make medicines and potions for fun, and explore this world with Rouge at my side. What more could I ask for, really? Who needs a job when you can just will houses, food, and other necessities into existence with a thought? And fighting the Demon Lord, the Church, and manifold monsters sounds like a /benefit/ to me at this point. I'm gonna be stuck in this jump for more than a thousand years, and having my own chapter to lead and mold in that time will at the very least make for a fun diversion. There's actually quite a few things on the list to accomplish before I leave, of course. Gotta deal with the Chaos Gods, the Tyranids, the Orcs, the Necrons, Deldar, re-unify the Imperium under the rule of Rouge and I (via showing off our Living Saint and God-Emperor powers gained in previous jumps), but...well, I've got multiple galactic-spanning armies and plentitudinal ways of dealing with these things at this point. I've had to pull the 40k universe together practically from scratch before, and I have far more resources and sheer power to do it with now. So once the major issues are out of the way, I think Rouge and I are going to get to work seeing if we can't do some weird silly magitech bullshit with the Warp. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with it-maybe reshape it into an actual functional afterlife or something-but tinkering around with it in-between wandering around as galactic tourists ought to eat up a millennium or so! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 85: Dark Souls - Tokyo Souls Starting Location: Akihabara Backstreets Age: 26 Gender: Female Origin: Undead Drawbacks >Return +0 ** >Tall Dark Strangers +100 ** >Pain Dispenser +100 ** >GASHUNK! +200 ** >Aftershocks +200 ** >Piteous Returned +200 ** >Abyssal Reflection +300 ** >The World Kept Turning +300 ** >And The Fire Kept Burning +300 ** Perks >Soulbearer -Free >Improved Intelligence -Free >Improved Imagination -Free >Smartphone Gen -200 ** >App Designer -300 ** >Guardian Angel -300 ** >OS Wizardry -400 ** >Boogeyman -400 ** Items >Scavenged Melee Weapon -Free >Fashion Souls -Free >Cell Phone -Free >Estimun C x3 -Free >Portable Quick Charge Pack -100 ** >Jailbroken -300 ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>Improved Vitality -Free >>Inner Brightness -200 ** >>Regrowth -200 Companion ** -100 ** >>Lightbringer -400 Companion ** Tokyo Souls is a very aesthetic series of pics, but a much drearier place to live. But with an effort of distributive networking, programming, and subtle workings, it should be possible to tame even that beast and bring this apocalypse to a close. ...And also I seem to have gained a Stand for some reason. Rouge, on the other hand, became something of a patron saint for these people-raising their spirits while I solved the actual problems. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 86: Fate/Stay Night Starting Location: Einzbern Estate, Germany Age: 13 Gender: Female Origin: Magus Heir -100 ** Drawbacks >Sealing Designation +200 ** >Center Stage +300 ** >Black Is The New Black +300 ** >Grail Campaign +300 ** >Class War +300 ** >JUMPER +600 ** Perks >Command Seals -Free >Magic Circuits -Free >Stat Sheet -Free >Basic Training -Free >The Most Remixable Song -Free >Demi-Servant -500 ** +1000 SP >Power of the Tsun -Free >This Is My Absolute Territory -Free >Well Rounded (Wo)Man -100 ** >The Family Art (Weakened) -Free >Average One -300 ** >Sorcerer's Apprentice (First True Magic) -500 ** >Homuncu(te)lus -400 ** >Dragonheart -600 ** Items >Rainy Days -50 ** >A Special Ruby -Free Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>Origin: Magus Heir >>Power of the Tsun -Free >>This Is My Absolute Territory -Free >>Well Rounded (Wo)Man -100 Companion ** >>Average One -300 ** >>Sorcerer's Apprentice (Third True Magic) -500 Companion ** >>Good People Have Good Night's Sleep -100 ** This jump is a major arc in my chain...because on my own, there's no way I'd be able to do anything but chainfail here. The JUMPER drawback all but guarantees I'll fail; alone at least. I'm not alone. From jump one, I've never been alone. This entire time, I've had Rouge by my side. She grew powerful, just as I did-perhaps moreso in some ways. I've passed on to her many of my own powers through Sacrificial Bestowment, making her my equal and even more powerful than I in many regards. We've bonded and cared for each other, and each have relied on each other to cover the other's faults. JUMPER doesn't have any of that. And thus, even if I can't win alone...Rouge can help me win. And that's the beauty of a partnership. Alone, I could never have continued that, never have reached as far as I have. But with her at my side, I could do anything. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 87: Nier Automata Starting Location: Carnival Origin: Machine (Terminal) -300 ** Gender: Female Drawbacks >Robonoxious +100 ** >Connection Blocked +200 ** >What Was Sacrificed +200 ** >THIS DOES NOT COMPUTE +300 ** Perks >2Booty -100 ** >A to B to C -Free >Surpassing The Creator -100 ** >What The Maker Has Wrought -200 ** >Deus Machina -300 ** Items >Basic Gear -Free >Bag of Chips -200 ** >Picture Book -Free Companion >Rouge -50 ** +600 Companion ** >>YoRHa (Commander) -100 ** >>2Booty -100 ** >>Automata -Free >>Droid In Charge -Free >>Metal Caesar -300 Companion ** >>The Long War -300 Companion **, -300 ** >>Basic Gear -Free >>Quality Sachet -Free Another example where I'd be really disadvantaged if I didn't have Rouge to help me; my memories are missing, the world's gone crazy, and the Android/Machine war kicked into absurdly high gear for basically no reason. I am a digital goddess removed from the digital realm and shattered across the world, and if I was alone I would be the only hope that YoRHa has for survival. But I am not alone. Rouge is here with me too, and her skill in tactics and strategy is more powerful than ever. With her leadership YoRHa is able to re-organize, redeploy, and start taking back the Earth despite the disadvantages they were at. Rouge can help me find my memories-the most critical ones first, at the very least-and with that, YoRHa gains an incredibly powerful asset and fighter in my own capabilities. The longer the war goes on, the more things turn in our favor...until eventually, several years into the jump, the Machine Army will finally crumble. My memories returned, the Earth reclaimed, and the war one, these robutts need a new purpose...and I think I can provide one for them. Several of my altforms are human after all, and they should fit right into my Chaosverse. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 88: HunterXHunter Starting Location: Whale Island Age: 14 Gender: Female Origin: Insectoid -300 ** Drawbacks >Chimera Ants +600 ** Perks >Tough -400 ** >STRONK -400 ** >Squadron Commander -Free >King -250 ** Nen: Enhancer >Tiger Bite Fist -200 ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +500 Companion ** >>Origin: Insectoid >>Drawback: Chimera Ants +600 Companion ** >>Tough -400 Companion ** >>STRONK -400 Companion ** >>Squadron Commander -Free >>King -250 Companion ** >>Book of Life -50 Companion ** This jump is appallingly bad...but hilariously enough, it has a companion import option. Which is honestly ridiculously unique amongst old jumps, especially ones which are rather poorly put together. Now, I'm going to be frank: literally all I know about this setting comes from this general. Specifically this one video... Netero’s Past English Dub | The Birth of a Monster | Hunter x Hunter 2011 (embed) A lot of explanations about how Nen works, and that the Epic of Gilgamesh got an update before this series did. So my general plans can be summed up as such: fight and kill Chimera Ants, train autistically for the fun of it, end each day cuddling Rouge. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 89: Stargate SG-1 Starting Location: Cimmeria Race: Human Age: 29 Gender: Female Origin: Drop-In Drawbacks >Hallowed +600 ** Perks >Round Telephone -Free >Unleash The Snark -Free >Toxicology Reports -Free >We Go Together (Rouge) -Free >Theoretical Astrophysicist -Free >We MacGuyvered It Sir -150 ** >Remember That Time You Blew Up The Sun? -300 ** Items >Fn P90 Submachine Gun -Free >Micro 16 Assault Rifle -50 ** Rouge Build >Race: Human >Origin: Commander -100 ** >Round Telephone -Free >Unleash The Snark -Free >Toxicology Reports -Free >Is This The Face Of A Crazy Man -Free >No Matter How Dense -300 ** Another thing of note: I've never actually watched Stargate SG-1. know the generalities of it, but I know basically nothing of any specific plot points or anything that occurred in specific episodes (aside from some dumb stuff I've seen brought up in the occasional fanfic. Usually Harry Potter fanfics, funnily enough). I am FAIRLY sure that the Ascended and the Ori aren't any more dangerous than a Daolord who can casually destroy universes, though, and it's been dozens of jumps since I surpassed that level of power. And I'm PRETTY sure that none of these guys have Eggman-**** bullshit supertech, and I can pull that sort of shit out of my ass on a whim as well... So the plan is the usual default: defeat drawback enemies, go looting for interesting things, play tourist as applicable. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jump 90: Seaven Deadly Sins Starting Location: Vaizel, Liones Race: Goddess -100 **, +200 Grace ** Origin: Royalty Age: 21 Gender: Female Drawbacks >Punching Ban +200 ** >That Is My Sin (Lust) +200 ** >It's High Noon +300 ** >Traitor +300 ** Perks >Power Levels -Free >Witch -200 ** >Heart Magic -200 ** >Be Not Afraid -Free >Peacemaker -200 ** >Brought Up On Gold -Free >Shaky Memories, Shaky Art -Free >Classical Princess -200 ** Powers >Infinity -600 ** >Flash -200 Grace **, -400 ** Items >Special Mushrooms -50 ** Companion >Rouge -50 ** +800 Companion ** >>Race: Human +100 Companion ** >>Origin: Holy Knight -100 Companion ** +200 Power ** >>The Small And The Many -Free >>My One Truthful King -Free >>My Code -Free >>Holier Than Thou -200 Companion ** >>Combo Star -200 Power **, -200 Companion ** >>Sacred Treasure -400 Companion ** Rouge Sacred Treasure +1000 SP >Basic Form (Sword) -Free >Import (Legendary Sword) -50 SP >Power Enhancement -200 SP >Attack Enhancement -300 SP >Self-Repairing -50 SP >True Form -400 SP A combination of drawbacks, Rouge's strength, and my own willpower are going to be necessary to all but seal me away for the good of this world, this jump. Out of control lust when you're a nigh-omnipotent and omnipresent goddess is /dangerous/, and it's even worse when your personality begins to invert. Luckily my powers wane the more my personality switches, and with weakened powers Rouge can keep me locked up and prevent me from doing any damage to the things I hold dear.
This is obviously not just me figuring out a transparent way to force myself out of the plot of the setting because I literally have no idea what the plot is.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
