My name is L, I am a senior pushing for the highest success I can reach. I currently have a cumulative GPA at 3.7, I have a low score of 18 on my ACT but I know with practice, patience, and determination I can raise that score much higher. I have never been great at standardized testing but I don't let it hold me back from reaching the peaks of success throughout my classes. I work as efficiently as possible and make sure I am thorough with all work recieved, on top of that I've worked my way to the top 15 of my class whilst also being ahead of the curve for my age. I've never let a challenge hold me back in life no matter how daunting it may seem from the outside. I'm a highly competitive person and will take things down to the wire just to make sure they're done to my perfection. I've met others like myself but I feel like no one takes it as serious as I do, I want to be the most successful person in all of my classes, school, and my family. I want to be the person who shifts the tide and breaks through the tsunami unscathed with the story of a life time to tell. My life will be focused around taking the challenges that seem extremely impossible and completing them with high success as I have a fire burning within me and nothing has yet to put of the flames of my ambition. The career I'm pursuing in college is computer engineering, it's a smaller field in the technology sector. It deals with hands on eletrical work and computer software programming in order to create new various technologies. I find myself interested in this field as I have had a long obsession with computers since I was the age of 13, I can take a part any computer and fully reconstruct it with full confidence. That's why i'm choosing computer engineering as it's the field that creates and handles the parts put into technologies such as a smartphones, consoles, tvs, and computers! I will work my absolute hardest to show that I'm not the standard specimen you'd expect from someone in my generation and that I deserve my opportunity at becoming a computer engineer. My long term goals include to buy my grandparents their house and refurnish it, own multiple properties fully tenanted out, have ownership in a small business, and become a computer engineering leader. It will take me a long time to reach a lot of these goals but they're not outside the realm of possiblity as patience and persistance are key. I want these goals all met around my 40's as I don't want old age to grasp full on to me just as I'm reaching a peak in life. On top of all these I want to open a roth ira at 19 so my equity builds as I reach older ages, I will have my long term goals done to their best and reinvigorate those closest to me. As life goes on for me and the future nears with every second ticking, I know what lies ahead for me as I strive to reach my life goals. So long as I travel the road that's best fit for me and not for the other people around me I know I'll have my destined life waiting. It's like poet Robert Frost says "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." It's a saying to me that's very impactful as I don't see many others going the route I'm going in life and I believe it's going to make a tremendous difference for me. With all this being said about my long term far reaching goals, it must not be forgot that to reach those goals I must struggle and drive my way through college seeking my computer engineering degree with low debt and a forever burning flame within that guides me to push through the challenges and face the hardships of the world head on without weakness.
