But naïve, bubbly, and full of surprise as a human. She loves her life of a superhero but always felt less than human when it came to relationships. She has never had much luck dating because there are no other Kryptonians on Earth other than her cousin. It would be awkward to date him. And other Kryptonians that do find their way to Earth tend to be "kill and conquer all humankind" type. She has dated a few humans but because of her Kryptonian origins, she can't have coital relations with humans. One wrong move with the wrong pressure and she could kill someone. She always feels that a part of her human experience has been missing. So when James shows her a way to fulfill her dearest wish, she is over the moon. She has been building this moment up so she wants to get everything right. Her confidence as a superhero takes over and she takes control of the situation and gets what she wants.
