Richard Allen Cripps & Stuart Cripps (from Congleton) - guilty of witness tampering in Tracey Mertens murder.

Richard Cripps guilty of three counts/three separate incidents of witness tampering -

1. intimidation of a witness to prevent witness from coming forward as a witness to police.

2. being party to a conspiracy to abduct and murder a witness.

3. being party to an attempt to abduct and murder a witness.


Stuart Cripps guilty of one count of witness tampering -

1. Doing an act that intimidates a witness - visiting the home of witness the day after an attempt (by others) to abduct and murder said witness, visiting the home of said witness to ascertain if witness is dead or missing.
