Scope & objective: This section will provide the details about scope and objective of the project or system. Test plan id: Test approach: This section of the test plan provide broad coverage of the issue to be addressed when testing the target software. Test items: This is a listing of the entities to be tested and should include names,identifiers, revision number for each entity. Role and responsibility: This section will define all the roles and responsibility of all the testers. Define at least 4 major components in Test Strategy document. The major components in test strategy document. 1.Test automation and tools: This section will define which tools are going to be used in the test. 2.Industry standards to follow: This section will define what type of business standard are going to be followed while going through the testing phase. 3.Scope & objective: This section will provide the details about scope and objective of the Project and the system. 4.Test Environment: This section will describe about the environment in which all the testing technique is going to be applied. 3. Test plan include -test plan id,features to be tested testing task Test strategy include -objective and scope,documentation,test process etc Test plan is carried out by manager or lead Test strategy is carried out by project manager Test plan can be changed Test strategy cannot be changed
